The campground sits above two lakes, and you have almost a 360 degree view of water, sun rises and sets, and wide open spaces. Plenty of stars, too! Most sites were spacious. The playgrounds could use some care as they are showing wear and tear but the kids loved them both.
Oct 01, 2024 · Carol FlintFor rooms it depends on your camper. I am happy with what we have and the site we have. Our kids are comfortable exploring and going to see other kids their age on the campground and the playground. We have a spot that is around a good group of people, and the staff for the site is extremely kind and takes good car of the pool and area.
Sep 08, 2024 · Danny PickeringWent with the family and Grandkids, have been before but was impressed with how friendly the seasonal camper's are and how kid friendly it is. Will be coming back in 2 weeks for a longer stay. Had a great time, will go more often now that we have a camper!
Jul 28, 2019 · Tammy BothwellGreat campground! Very pleasant and friendly. The bathhouse has brand new tiled, spacious showers which each having a private dressing area. There is a handicapped accessible shower with a huge area for moving around and changing. It is flush to the floor so you can roll in with your chair. There are plenty of activities for kids AND adults. The pool is kept clean and is heated! There is a store which sells a bit of what you'll need and a lot of refreshments for kids and adults! There is also a large open hall available upon request for family reunions, banquets or whatever your needs. Just check ahead in case it's being used for a dance with DJ, and yes.. Bright colored lights! LOL, a camp wide potluck, bingo, or an activity for the kids. They also have WiFi !!! We have been lucky enough to be there for Christmas in July, scavenger hunts, and Halloween! Summer wouldn't be summer without a trip to Charbo!
May 14, 2018 · Michelle LamotheI was not able to book a reservation because my dog is part pitbull. They don't accept your pet if it has any Doberman, Rottweiler or Pitbull. These two in the picture are the sweetest dogs but because they have Pitbull and the other has part Rottweiler they are discriminated. This is the first campground ever to be prejudice.
