- Peaceful and Relaxing Atmosphere: The park is described as a "peaceful relaxing place," which is a significant highlight for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle. This tranquil environment is often a top priority for RVers looking to unwind.
- Friendly Staff: The "really nice ladies working at the bait shop/office" are a recurring positive point in reviews, indicating a welcoming and helpful staff, which greatly enhances the overall guest experience.
- Well-Maintained Grounds: The consistent mention of the park being "very nice well kept" underscores a commitment to cleanliness and aesthetic appeal, contributing to a pleasant stay.
- Short-Term Stay Focus: The policy of "only stay 1 week at a time then can come back in a week" suggests that the park is primarily designed for short-term recreational stays rather than long-term residency. This might appeal to vacationers and those on a touring schedule.
- Dog Policies: While positive overall, it's important for dog owners to note the strict leash policy within the campground and "no dog" signs near the lake adjacent to the campground. This means dogs cannot access the lake directly from the campground, requiring a drive and a longer walk on a trail for lake access, which could be a consideration for pet owners. According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), over 69 million U.S. households own a dog, and many RVers travel with their pets, making pet policies an important factor in their decision-making.
These features indicate that City Lake RV is particularly well-suited for those who enjoy fishing, desire a quiet retreat, and appreciate friendly service, all within a well-maintained setting.

Customer Reviews
Great fishing. Very nice well kept park. Really nice ladies working at the bait shop/office. Peaceful relaxing place. Will be returning.
I lived here half of the 2024 summer. You can only stay 1 week at a time then can come back in a week. $25 a night for rv sites. Most have sewer hook ups but theres also a dump station. Dogs always have to be on leashes in the campground, and there are no dog signs all over the lake close to the campground, so they can't even go to the lake unless you drive down the road and walk over a mile on a trail. That was hard on my dogs to not be able to swim in the lake they can see...
Beautiful and well maintained. Very quiet and peaceful.
Very beautiful quiet and cozy cabins beautiful view of the lake. For 3 night's in the cabins was good time. Very very clean Bath House been alot of places and never knew that they were really not CLEAN but up here @ City Lake your getting hospitality and cleanliness.Great Place To Be🇺🇸
Great little place. I've actually never camped there personally but I live in the area. I know several people that have camped here and absolutely love it. The price is great and it is very quiet and not too many people around. Right next to the lake which is a no-wake lake so there are no load boats coming in and off the water. Power and water is Available there. Easy access to town and far enough away from everything! Great camping spot for sure!
