Customer Reviews
We love staying here when in town to see the kids, grandkids, and visit our doctors. Nice and quiet. No frills but lots of blue birds to watch! It’s overall a good, safe place to stay-away from the tourists and traffic!
Excellent affordable park with full hookups, laundromat, security fence and gate. Tom who manages the property is a great person and always willing to give a helping hand if you need help. We stay here two three times a year as it’s is close to our grandkids.
Very nice park for a few nights. If you’re going to stay here try to get a spot on the outside loop. We stayed on the inside loop and our sight had a sharp slope. Bathrooms very clean and the park is well maintained. Camp hosts were very helpful.
Clean, quiet, and well managed. This is our 2nd week-long visit to this campground. Perfect spot to set up while establishing FL as our domicile. The campground is fenced with a coded gate entry, designate off-leash dog area, and plenty of open space to walk/exercise on the county fairgrounds. Amenities are limited but all the hookups and property is very well maintained.
We stayed here when Hurricane Helene was barreling through Florida and the other Southern States reeking havoc. It is tucked in by the fairground. Its very basic but clean and organized. Tom the property host and Manager was amazing. So helpful, supportive and immediately gave us a sense of community. Several of us came here when the park we volunteer at was closed for the storm. Tom made sure we were all taken care of and even let us know if we were in any weather danger he would alert us and had a safe building to escape to. This kind of service is what you are looking for on the road. I highly recommend this park for people visiting family and friends in the area. Workers looking for a safe and clean place to put their rigs or you simply need a quiet safe place to rest a few days. Many thanks to Tom and the park for providing us a safe haven. In the wake of what could have been. I am thankful and my prayers to all of those who were not as lucky as we were.
