Very nice, smaller County Park. The campground was closed, but we have heard from others its a great place to camp. The lake was beautiful and excellent for a bit of kayaking. Clear water and lots of birds to see. Boat Launch if really nice. Its a no wake lake, however. The picnic areas have lots of picnic tables, and there's a playground, nice bathrooms, volleyball court. Very peaceful place. The beach is quite small.
Oct 16, 2021 · Lindsay SondelskiBeautiful place to camp. No wake lake makes for relaxing swimming and kayaking. Nice bathrooms too. Just an FYI that you need to bring your own water for cooking and drinking due to high nitrite levels.
Aug 23, 2021 · Jenny MolepskeOur family has been coming to this park for over 40 years. Wish there was more of a beach and clean swim area. This past year there was a lot of weeds and overgrowth. We will continue to come back because it is a very important part of our lives and we all find peace there.
Aug 12, 2023 · Theresa MaraschLovely little county park campground. It looks like all the sites were in the shade which was nice. Good little beach and playground. Clean bathrooms. We had a great time! Also, I couldn't believe how much firewood you get for only $5. We really appreciated that!
Jun 20, 2024 · Caitlin Luebke BrillowskiFirst time coming to Collins Park, we loved it! Bathrooms are clean and the lake was fun to swim in. The campsites are a little close together for my liking, but still not too bad! Also makes for a great campground when booking multiple sites for family / friends. We will be back
