Customer Reviews
Been camping here since I was born its the nicest campground in Pennsylvania far as im concerned! Beautiful park, beautiful lake. The fishing is so so it used to be better when I was a kid. Walleye and crappie. However they stopped stocking Walleye and started stocking northern pike instead which Is a big bummer. I highly recommend this park! Nice bathrooms for the most part. Hot showers some sites are more private than others. I camp here every year in the same spot my parents and grandparents took me every summer!
Had a wonderful time camping here. Though it was full with many campers, we still found it to be quiet and relaxing. The beach area is really nice and the camp store had everything you could possibly need including really good ice-cream! The kids had fun fishing and I saw lots of kayaks being used as well. Shower house was nothing special but the water was warm and water pressure was good. There was also a down washing station at the shower house which was nice. I definitely recommend this place!
Crooked Run campground is our go-to camping spot. It's always clean, has everything we need for a weekend getaway, or, as we did this past summer, a full two-week stay. They have tons of activities for kids and adults of every age and offer walking trails, a bike course, swimming at the campground beach, boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, fishing, and tons of educational group activities. They offer pet friendly campsites and walking areas, full hookup sites for the glampers, or non electric sites for those that want to "rough it" a little more. All campground loops have full bath houses with hot and cold running water for showers and outdoor dishwashing stations. And the camp store has everything you could possibly need or want, including full cooked dinners and tons of ice cream and desert choices. I've been camping at Crooked Run campground for 50 years, and I hope to camp there for 50 more!
Great camp ground! The lake is one of the bigger ones in pa so if you r on the boat it's normally pretty open for fishing. Nice bike track for the kids and plenty of trails for the more novice rider...our site was very big with plenty of room for games and a tent even with the camper
Really nice. We were there on a rainy October weekend but the kids still fished and rode bikes. It was well kept and facilities were clean and convenient. I can see how during summer It might get super busy.
