This level of care fosters a sense of community and reliability that is highly appreciated by those who make Dickens RV Park their temporary or long-term home.

While some reviews note the industrial surroundings, for many guests, particularly those working in the area, this is a practical trade-off for the park's affordability and functionality. The easy access to nearby industrial plants, coupled with its convenient location relative to essential amenities, makes it an excellent choice for a practical base. Dickens RV Park truly understands its niche, providing a well-equipped and friendly environment for the working RVer and those seeking an extended, no-drama stay in central North Carolina.

Location and Accessibility

Dickens RV Park is conveniently located at 1 Dickens Farm Rd, Moncure, NC 27559, USA. Moncure is a community situated in Chatham County, an area in central North Carolina that is experiencing significant growth and development. This location offers a strategic advantage for various types of RVers, particularly those working in the expanding industrial sector of the region.

The park's address on "Dickens Farm Rd" suggests a setting that, while potentially rural in origin ("old farm" as described in a review), is now integrated into an area with industrial presence. We only stayed for two nights passing through. Great for workers and full timers to stay. Good laundry facilities and heated during the winter. ATM on site and how to change machines for the washer and dryers. Ice is there available on an honor System. Showers and restrooms for those who need more space to spread out.

This was the first RV Park we stayed at outside of our home state as full-time RVers. We were apparently naive to think that we could get a monthly stay 3-4 weeks before our trip in the fall near Raleigh. However, Marty was extremely helpful and really fought to find us a spot at her park, which she did! The park and amenities were decent, basically a big open space at the front of an old farm. Mostly full-timers and transient plant workers. Pros: -Marty is great -Cheap monthly rate (FHU) -Easy access to Jordan Lake -Cell service was good for a full-time remote worker -Next door to a large solar array -Laundry facilities were good Cons: -Surrounded by industrial plants -20-25 minute drive to the nearest grocery store

I have been at Dickens RV park for 2 years now . The owner is a great guy, and they keep this place very clean . The cost of staying at Dickens RV Park has got to be the most reasonable price . For the most part, it is people who work out of town that stay here . I found it to be very quiet all hour of the day .
