Very friendly family run operation. Fantastic camp store with amazing local fresh ground coffee. A large variety of camping styles, all with AC, although, at least in the summer, I suggest booking a dome over a tent since the domes have real doors for easier climate control while the tents have double layer zipper doors. But the tents are much easier to air out naturally so tents could be preferable in more moderate seasons. Really nice and clean showers and bathrooms. Lovely platform for hot tub and sauna. Field trip made a great home base for nature excursions and the lovely dining in downtown TR. Good kids area w climbing wall and slingshot range.

My boyfriend and I are visiting friends in the area and decided to stay at Field Trip in the canvas tent. We were so impressed with how adorable this place is and all the amenities they offer! Truly an elevated glamping experience. We took advantage of the hot tub and dry sauna to relax after a long day. I’m a wedding photographer and I can’t wait to recommend this as a potential wedding venue to my clients!!!

We had the best experience!! Our first reservation was in February and when a bad winter storm came in they rescheduled us at no cost. It was so easy to communicate with them via text and get everything figured out. They even set up a pack n play and sent us a picture to show us what it would look like space wise since we were bringing our baby. It was so nice to just rent a pack n play and electric blankets there without having to worry about bringing them. The camp store has firewood, s’mores, and everything you’d need if you forgot something. I was impressed at all the amenities. My favorite part was definitely doing the sauna and cold plunge as we left in the morning. Already thinking about how I can come back with a group of my girlfriends. Love how it can go from a romantic get away with my husband to girls weekend place. Oh and Traveler’s Rest has such cute and tasty restaurants.

A Hidden Gem – A Must-See Destination! We had a last-minute stay and couldn’t have been more impressed. The space was very clean, cozy, and well-kept, with plenty of room even with other guests around. The bathrooms were immaculate and thoughtfully maintained. One of the highlights? The adorable onsite goats—such a charming and unexpected touch! Overall, it was a peaceful, memorable experience. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I are frequent travelers and just stumbled across this place on Airbnb which seems to have just opened. We were blown away by the attention to detail, cleanliness, and the friendly and quick responses by the staff. It’s one of the best places we have stayed in recent times and we would come back to this state just to stay here. 10/10 would recommend, can’t wait to go back.
