Customer Reviews
Great campground. Little league baseball ⚾️. This is a comeback camping spot for us. Bluegrass festival first week of may. Check date online.
We stayed there in the campground. It could use some updating but was very nice and roomy. Softball games were fun to watch and had great walking trails along the river. It is big rig friendly.
Dawn in the office was awesome. When we pulled in with our motorhome, we found the battery in our tow vehicle dead. She not only helped to try and jump our battery, she drove my husband to Advance Auto to get a replacement. We took an hour of her time when she was off work. Thank HOD for sweet people like Dawn. Very nice campground, extremely quiet...we will definitely come back.
Very nice wide open field with sites where 2 sites share one electric box. About 20 sites...I'm guessing. Nice long sites so we didn't have to unhook. Lady at the desk was very nice. First come, first served. Cheap! $15 Park, tennis courts, and ballfields nearby.
Great overnight stop near Lexington, Virginia. Wide open sites that are level and spacious. Would definitely stay again. If you come here, eat at TAPS, really good food with a quaint location. And visit Stonewall Jackson’s grave and home.
