This is by far one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at and I’ve been camping for almost 50 year. Well designed flat campsites, super nice host MO! Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Wi-Fi Located at the office with nice chairs to sit in. Only a few miles from the Grafton Notch State Park which offers amazing scenic views, great hikes, and waterfalls! We already have another camping trip planned. 10 ⭐️ hats off to husband and wife team Mark and Mo, you’ve created a beautiful campground! ⛺️
Aug 24, 2025 · Sonja KappesBeautiful location in Grafton Notch, close to many natural attractions in the area. The campground mostly consisted of tent sites (no hookups) and there are only a handful of sites so the campground feels quiet most of the time. Many of the sites back up to the river which was running low but still very nice. Mo was an excellent host and the camp store had many items available for purchase. There is a very clean restroom facility in the middle of the campground as well as some cornhole boards and horseshoe rings. We’ll be back!!!
Aug 23, 2025 · Bill RMy Husband and I took some time off after the 4th and found ourselves at Grafton Notch Campground in Newry ME. This is one of the best campgrounds that we have been to over the years. The campground has 15 sites in a horseshoe loop along the Bear River. We stayed at Site 2 which was close to the office/store/entrance and had the best woodshaved path to the river. The river was not deep but did have some 3' ish spots to submerge on a hot day. The sites were flat, gravel and extremely well maintained. The fire rings had a cooking grate but placed strategically in the site to give you the best view while you are watching the flames . The bath house was a short walk. They had 2 outdoor counter/sink areas for dishes, very clean toilets and a hugh free shower with shower head that had a pulse feature. One of the cleanest bath houses you will find. Horseshoe pit and corn hole. Mo, the owner, was very personable often asking how is your stay and how did you sleep we felt like we were staying at a friend's camp. You can tell how much she cares about her place and she is very hardworking as everything is immaculate. Her store is stocked with what you need and what you did not know you needed. Puzzle Mt bakery, Grafton Notch State Park, Bethel etc are down the road. We ventured to Roxbury ME Swift River Thre ponds to cool off under a waterfall and finished our days floating in the bear river steps from our site. Do yourself a favor book a stay at this campground . Thank you Mo for a great stay.
Jul 12, 2025 · Leslie EdwardsI’ve stayed at many campgrounds, and this one stands out. Mo loves her campground and it shows. There are flower gardens, spotless bathrooms, free hot showers, a smaller number of campsites, many trees, easy access to trails, level and raked sites, mulch paths through the woods to the river, a camp store with awesome snacks. Cozy and just what I was looking for. Thank you so much for a great trip!
Aug 31, 2025 · Nathan LaingOne of the best kept campgrounds I’ve been to. Very clean and well maintained. Very close to trails. It’s $35/night for one. Only downside is how close it is to the road. You’ll hear cars driving by all night
