My wife and I had a great experience at Lone Mountain Campground! We were joined by my sister in-law and her husband. The bathrooms and shower facilities were very well maintained. We were also pleasantly surprised at the supplies available at the camp store. Every employee we had contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Thanks
Aug 07, 2025 · Steven PerronWe loved the camp ground, our space was clean. Roomy, plenty of space. Very good water pressure...Great for walking and the river was beautiful and deep enough to get wet but shallow enough for wadding. A very nice place for our gs to swim and stretch her legs. Store seemed well stocked. Lord willing, We will be returning nx year!
Aug 04, 2025 · Dianne HerrickThis is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. Very friendly and clean. My husband, boys (dogs) and I love to take adventures in our toy hauler with side by side. Our campsite was more than big enough to accommodate us. The surrounding trails were excellent for exploring. Their is a beautiful pool and nice river to relax in after a long day of riding. We were pleasantly surprised the campground put on a 4th of July parade that everyone was welcome to participate in, as well as many activities the whole weekend. Thank You Lone Mountain campground. We will definitely be back.
Jul 06, 2025 · Debbie PattersonThis place was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations! The cabin was stunning, every extra detail. Love the live edge countertops and the beds were super comfy. The pool was great and we loved that the fully grown men were using the slide! There was so much to do outside the camp too. After seeing the poster of Height of Land on the wall we took a drive up there and it was spectacular . Thank you for a great stay!
Jul 08, 2025 · Keri HaasThis is an ATV CG as advertised and not a restful CG. We had really high hopes of enjoying this CG due to it being off season and generally less busy. We were not greeted in a friendly fashion when we checked in. It was quiet and peaceful until 10pm on our first night’s stay. Our next door neighbors pulled in around 10 p.m. (after stated arrival hours of 7:30 p.m.) and proceeded to set up camp from 10 p.m. to approximately 1 a.m. Lights were in full use (also a violation of stated policies), full noise from camp set up activities, laughing/talking (all violations of stated policies.) Then our neighbors made a fire in the fire pit and talked until well into the night. We did not get good rest and were awakened early the next morning well prior to 8 a.m. (quiet hours go until 8 a.m.) by our noisy neighbors. This is absolutely unacceptable. Our other neighbors’ dogs barked at us constantly. The only positive from this campground is that the facilities are new, clean and well kept. I would not recommend this campground.
