BE AWARE of the speed trap.... I cant believe they want to steal additional money from people trying to support them with their speed trap. The 15mph zone extends unnecessarily for a very long time as you leave or enter the restaurant / golf course area. There are a lot of people that have complained about a large ticket because they sped up to 35mph too soon or didn't slow down fast enough for the 15mph. The extremely overweight wanna-be power hungry security officer that sits in the trees at the 15mph speed trap definitely gets off on making people ask for his leniency while he still gives you a $50 - $100 ticket. Also, what he says goes, there is no judicial review or a way to contest the ticket. Doesn't sound like America to me! He has ZERO legal powers and you are not legally obligated to pull over or show him any identification. Please note that he is legally responsible for your safety and health if you do pull over because of his flashing red lights. If something happens to you, you should seek out a lawyer for negligence. I would think that the Sherriff's Dept would be very concerned about allowing a situation that makes people doubt whether to pull over for flashing lights. 316.241. (7) Flashing lights are prohibited on vehicles except as a means of indicating a right or left turn, to change lanes, or to indicate that the vehicle is lawfully stopped or disabled upon the highway or except that the lamps authorized in subsections (1), (2), (3), (4), and (9) and s.

If making an investment in property in this community? Buyer beware. Unassumingly we purchased a property that is adjacent to others that are used as rentals. The community association and HOA Boards do not require landlord/owners to background check long term tenants; we experienced a recidivist renter with a thirty year criminal record across the street. The unimaginable politics and selectively enforced rules & regs, along with condo by-laws that apply to some and not others? The thug renter? It all resulted in a living nightmare. Highly recommend staying and RESEARCHING before you purchase. Disappointment and buyers remorse of epic proportions. The epitome of all that glitters is not gold.

Police cars flying thru at 2am sirens blaring. Cars constantly speeding through park. People dogs barking early morning waking you up. Park is nice but the class of people living here has gone down hill.

If you have an older RV they discriminate you and won’t allow you to book even though it doesn’t say anywhere on their website that it’s not allowed. We have a 1996 RV in perfect shape that that wouldn’t allow us to book because of the year.
