Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
For Texans, particularly those residing in or looking to move to the Galveston County area, Highland Village Mobile Home Park in Hitchcock offers a viable and often appealing housing solution. Its suitability for locals stems from its combination of affordability, practical amenities, and strategic location.
Firstly, affordability is a key factor. In a region where housing costs can be a significant concern, mobile home parks provide a more accessible entry point into homeownership or long-term rental. This allows Texans to allocate their financial resources more effectively, whether for family needs, education, or enjoying the rich cultural and recreational offerings of the Gulf Coast. While rent levels are a common discussion point in any community, the fundamental aim of such parks is to provide a relatively budget-friendly housing option.
Secondly, the presence of a large common area enhances the quality of life for residents. This shared space offers opportunities for outdoor enjoyment, relaxation, and potential community interaction, fostering a sense of neighborhood without requiring individual residents to maintain extensive private yards. The pet-friendly policy is also a significant advantage for many Texan families, ensuring that beloved companions can be part of their home.
Finally, the park’s convenient location on FM 2004 places it strategically between the job markets and attractions of Houston and Galveston. This means residents can enjoy a quieter, more relaxed suburban environment while still maintaining easy access to major employment centers, world-class entertainment, shopping, and healthcare. For Texans seeking a practical, community-oriented, and affordably positioned place to call home on the Gulf Coast, Highland Village Mobile Home Park in Hitchcock offers a compelling option.

Have some friends here, and let me say you need to lower your rent charge seriously at best your trailers are an $800 a month 3/2. I've seen mobile home parks at your current price that are 300% better at service and atmosphere. Face reality your economy at the park hasn't reached the financial gain you pocket every month. Fix it and a better review will follow. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES.

Sep 25, 2021 · mr stealyobitchThis place is a complete joke and getting worse by the day! Would rate a zero if I could.I have lived hear over 5 years, and there has been a 175% price increase. Newest owners have cleaned a few things up fixed a few pot holes but that's were the improvements have stopped. There is standing water throughout the property, and ownership refuses to do anything about it. The newest "great" idea is that they had is to bring travel trailers in. Making it part mobile home, part rv park. This has been horrible, the part time renters are over charged and leave unhappy so they leave their trash everywhere and guess what, ownership doesn't bother sending anyone out to clean up after them. Since they changed management, at least 3 or 4 months ago, don't know exactly because they never told us anything about it. I still have never met the new manager, don't even have her number. Only found out when the old manager stopped by to help some of us residents fix a burst pipe, that ownership wouldn't fix. I payed for the piping. Myself and some neighbors provided the tools, and it wasn't even on one of our lots. It was in a vacant one. (But it was shooting up like a guyisser and know they would have found some way to make us pay for the money they lost). There were 2 insedents this week alone. One of the RV renters is working a shutdown near by. He came back to the park to find he didn't have any electricity. After calling the office, he found out there was a mix up between the local and corporate offices and corporate had shut his electricity off. Now 3 days later and they still haven't been back out to turn it back on. Hitting closer to home for me. Tuesday my neighbor comes over to let me know there is a major leak coming from my meter. After checking it out I see that it's leaking on there side (the parks not the city. We don't deal with the city when it comes to our water, it's all through the park.) We, the neighbors and I started calling the office I could never get through to talk to anyone, but the neighbor talked to them multiple times. I come home Friday and they finally came by to check it out. But if you thinking they fixed it you would be wrong they just turned the water supply leading to my trailer off. So now that they put it off all week it's the weekend and they aren't about to pay someone to come out on a weekend. I would have moved a long time ago, although I have put a new roof on my trailer and the moving companies say they won't move it because the shingles make it to top heavy. Can't afford a new place at the moment, but if they keep going up on the prices I will probably be better of redoing the roof again. I would definitely be better off mentally not having to put up with this BS. STAY FAR AWAY!
