Honey Bear Campground offers a variety of pricing options and a clear rate structure designed to accommodate different lengths of stay and preferences. While specific "special offers" like percentage discounts may vary seasonally or for unadvertised reasons, the campground provides value through its flexible booking options and competitive rates.
One notable aspect of their pricing structure is the inclusion of up to 4 people per site in the base rate. For additional adults (age 16+), there is a fee of $5 per adult per day, while children are free. This family-friendly approach helps manage costs for larger groups.
For those considering longer stays, Honey Bear Campground welcomes "Long-term (30 days or more) stays" in their A-loop for a rate of "$675 a month." It's important to note that reservations for long-term stays require a direct call to the office and cannot be pro-rated. Additionally, all long-term guests must have RV accommodations, and tent sites are limited to a maximum of two weeks at a time per 30-day period. This offers a significant discount compared to nightly or weekly rates for extended visits.
Cabin rentals may have specific minimum stay requirements, such as a "2-night minimum for our C8 cabin." If only a 1-night stay is desired for this cabin, a non-refundable $50 cleaning fee is added to the bill. This allows flexibility for shorter stays, though with an additional charge.
The campground also offers seasonal camping (typically from April 15th to October 15th), which provides a discounted yearly rate compared to daily or monthly rates, and fosters a sense of community for repeat visitors.
While not a direct monetary discount, the "many new upgrades with more planned" mentioned in reviews, along with the extensive list of amenities (pool, mini golf, coffee shop, organized activities, etc.), contribute significantly to the overall value of a stay. These ongoing improvements and diverse offerings enhance the camping experience without additional charges for participation in many activities.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and any potential specific promotions or packages, it is always best to contact Honey Bear Campground directly via phone or visit their official website if available. Customer Reviews
A great family friendly snd pet friendly campground with a great owner that is friendly and very helpful. Terry and his wife are wonderful people. Many new upgrades with more planned. We look forward to camping there.
My family of 50+ relatives & I are all from Ohio. It’s been difficult to find places for all of us to vacation together & we are all enjoying our stay at the cabins/campsites here. Definitely recommend!
It's a good place if you want a secure environment. On site shower and toilets. Rustic camping but also has places for RV.
We loved our stay here! To be fair, it was late season and not too many people here, but everyone we met was friendly. We appreciated the rules as we understand that it helps make the place enjoyable for everyone. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The patrols around the campground were impressive and they always gave us a friendly wave. We were comfortable exploring the area during the day knowing our campsite was under the owner’s watchful eyes! Thank you for a wonderful visit.
In this place there is a community of old people. It is not a park it is a private property and it has a gate, in the camp area there is no bathroom there is only a portable bathroom that was super disgusting; if you want to use the bathroom and bathe you have to drive to get to the normal bathroom, and by the way you have to drive at 5 mph and there are many bumps because the old ones who come there start yelling at you. The owner yelled at us very rudely 🤬 and even told one of my friends to leave and one of the children got scared and started crying. I definitely don't recommend this place at all. Very bad experience 😤
