We're here to provide a clear, factual overview of what you can expect when considering Jones RV Park for your next stay in the Peach State.
RV parks serve as essential havens for travelers and a comfortable home base for those embracing the RV lifestyle. Jones RV Park, situated in Norcross, is an established option that offers essential services for a comfortable stay. While every park has its own unique character and appeal, we aim to present a balanced perspective based on available public information and resident feedback, allowing you to make an informed decision for your travels or long-term residency in Georgia. This article will explore the park's location, the amenities it offers, and what makes it a suitable choice for various RVing needs.
It's important to note that RV parks, especially those in bustling metropolitan areas like Atlanta, often cater to a mix of short-term visitors and long-term residents. This blend can create a different atmosphere compared to more secluded, vacation-oriented campgrounds. Jones RV Park, from what is publicly available, appears to serve both, with a significant number of permanent RVs and modular homes alongside spaces for transient guests. Understanding this dynamic can help set appropriate expectations for your stay.
Jones RV Park boasts a highly advantageous location at 2200 Willow Trail Pkwy, Norcross, GA 30093, USA. This address places it squarely within Gwinnett County, one of Georgia's most populous and economically dynamic areas, offering unparalleled convenience for RVers. The park's proximity to major interstate highways, particularly Interstate 85 (I-85), is a significant highlight for travelers.
For those coming south on I-85, you can take exit 101 and turn left, then take a right at the second red light. If you're traveling north on I-85, take exit 101 and turn right, then take another right at the very first red light. The park is conveniently located behind a Shell gas station, making it easy to find and access with larger rigs. This prime accessibility means that residents and visitors alike can easily navigate to and from the park, whether they are heading into downtown Atlanta for sightseeing, commuting to work, or simply exploring the broader Gwinnett County area.
Beyond highway access, the Norcross location provides immediate proximity to a wealth of local amenities. Within a short drive, or even walking distance according to some reports, you'll find numerous dining options, including both regular and Halal food places, gas stations, grocery stores, and other essential services. This ensures that you have everything you need close at hand, minimizing travel time for daily errands. For Georgians and visitors alike, the ease of access to both urban attractions and daily necessities makes Jones RV Park a practical and strategic choice for an RV base.

Specific, fluctuating promotions or special offers for Jones RV Park are best obtained by contacting the park directly, as these can change seasonally or based on availability. However, based on publicly available information and typical RV park operations, there are general pricing structures and potential long-term value points that act as ongoing benefits for residents.
Reported rates suggest daily rates typically range from $20-$45, weekly rates from $250-$275, and monthly rates from $600-$700. These rates, particularly for monthly stays, can represent a significant cost saving compared to traditional rental housing in the Atlanta area, making it an attractive option for long-term RV residents. While one review mentioned it being "a bit expensive for monthly RV but worth it," this indicates a perception of value for the amenities and location provided.
Prospective residents interested in extended stays are encouraged to call the office to inquire about current rates and any potential discounts for longer commitments. As noted on their website, reservations longer than two weeks require a direct call to the office. This personalized approach allows the park to discuss your specific needs and potentially offer tailored solutions. Jones RV Park, situated in Norcross, Georgia, presents a practical and well-situated option for locals and visitors navigating the Atlanta metropolitan area. Its primary suitability lies in its exceptional location and comprehensive essential services. For Georgians seeking a more long-term RV living solution, the park offers full hookups and a relatively affordable monthly rate compared to other housing options in the bustling Gwinnett County.

We stayed at this RV Park for 3 weeks. It is managed in such a way that it is clean and maintained. It's very crowded and the RV sites are setup like Buddy sites (my RV entry is facing the opposing RV's entry) and there's no possibility of privacy or an outside presence. There is no dog park or playground, just transient RVs, permanent RVs, and loads of modular homes. We had no issues with water or electricity, everything worked as expected. It was just an uncomfortable experience and the tone of not being safe is set on the website indicating everything should be locked up, don't leave anything outside, etc ... very different than most RV parks we visit. There were also way too many cats roaming around... And when I say too many, there's a colony of cats and they're having more and more cats; it's trending to be overrun with cats in the near future. We may return, but only to visit as an overnight on our way somewhere else, not to stay more than that.
May 31, 2025 · paige clevelandClean place. Very helpful team. Ask for Peter. Bit expensive for monthly RV but worth it in my view.....trailers parking available for daily charge and much much more .......lot of halal n regular food places around within 3 miles
May 30, 2023 · Gauhar AliBeautiful space with nice facilities! Just be sure to avoid the crotchety old dweeb riding around in his golf cart. I assume he’s the owner, but that doesn’t excuse his cringe and rude behavior to people patronizing his business.
Jul 18, 2024 · Gregory GriffithNice park, just stayed one night and was worth the $45. Roads are very busy, but you are close to everything you could want.
Apr 15, 2025 · Al ZeroBeautiful ❤️ 🌈 evening rainbow visible slightly above the 🚻 restrooms building of Jones RV parking. It's very pretty 🦋. The campground experience and atmosphere here is relaxing and quiet. Peter ( who we made our reservations with) was very professional, knowledgeable and explains everything about expectations to us for parking in the RV 🏞️ PARK well before reserving. Calling the RV site before reserving is best because we will know exactly how much space you need, how many vehicles parking space is available and how many days are available to hook up your RV and if whether or not anything special is reserved for future planning dates. Peter's experienced demeanor for running the RV park professionally adds a wonderful charm to the environment. The surrounding guest atmosphere is very neighborly. Your RV hook-up essentials at an affordable price is essential and definitely welcome here. The park is in close proximity to restaurants and has easy access to I-85 and I-285. The park also allows you to drive thru so you don't have to back up into the RV parking space.
