Customer Reviews
We did the 8 1/2 me kayak trip. Absolutely fantastic but be ready to do some kayaking. Lot of wildlife including a lot of alligators.
Kings Landing is amazing. I rented a kayak and did the 8.5 mile run! It is beautiful! We saw gators and lots of birds and turtles! It was super easy o reserve and pay for the kayak online. The staff was super friendly and helpful! I did the first run in the morning and the river was not crowded until I got to the end of the run. I will definitely be back!
We rented a few kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We explored at our leisure. We saw turtles and gators and tarantula-big spiders! Very fun natural Florida experience!! You can bring coolers (no alcohol or glass).
Very nice location to kayak, personal vessels are limited space so book online early, there is a small fee to used launch site. Kayak, canoe, paddle board rentals are their main business. We happen to go right after some large rains so the "Emerald Cut" was less than Emerald more murky. However, still a stunning tree lined canopy and senic paddle. Fun once we reached to top of the paddle area near Rock Spring head the water was sparkling clear and we saw River Otters enjoying the currents. Recommend this place but plan your trip here it can get full so making reservations is highly recommended during summer/high season especially weekends!
I have been wanting to go here for such a long time now and finally went. We booked the earliest time slot they had and I am so glad we did! On the paddle up we were completely alone and it was so peaceful! The paddle back was so packed! We had a great time though. We paddled emerald cut and then did a small section of the nature side and saw a small gator, turtles and birds
