Promotions or Special Offers

However, there are aspects to its pricing and booking that can be considered advantageous:

  • Reasonable Nightly Fees: As noted by reviews, the nightly fees are considered very reasonable, offering good value for the amenities and location, particularly when compared to some privately-owned facilities.

  • Online Reservation System: The ability to reserve campsites online up to 11 months in advance (for most sites, with a 7-day minimum in advance) provides convenience and allows campers to secure their preferred spot, especially during peak seasons. This is a benefit compared to first-come, first-served parks.

  • Accessible Site Reservations: Two wheelchair-accessible sites can be reserved in advance, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity.

  • Cancellation Policy: While cancellations less than 30 days in advance do not receive a refund, refunds are issued for cancellations made 30 days prior, with an $8.00 administrative fee. This structured policy allows for planning flexibility.

  • Lodge Rentals: Beyond camping, the park offers picnic lodges for rent, providing a communal space for larger groups or events, which can be a "special offer" for gatherings.

I've been coming here since I was very young. I don't remember how beautiful it is. Very well maintained and staff is great. It rained 4 of the 5 days and acorns were falling and I was set up next to a metal shed and the loud pops from them hitting roof were very entertaining. Some of the firepits need to be moved in my opinion because they are either behind camper or to far away and I do all my cooking outside. Got my eye set on a few sites for next year already.

Quiet, clean and relaxing campground on Lake Dubay. Simple and clean facilities. Caretaker on premises. Our spot is 50 feet from the water. Pretty good privacy where we are at. Too many yappy dogs, but that's true everywhere these days. Boat landing in the park.
