Located near the community of Longville, this establishment operates primarily as a seasonal campground and RV park, catering to individuals and families who desire a semi-permanent home for their trailer or recreational vehicle in the heart of the Northwoods. While information suggests a strong focus on seasonal rentals, the core appeal lies in its coveted location and the sense of community developed by its long-term residents.
It is important for prospective visitors to understand the nature of this campground, as it appears to strongly favor seasonal guests and those with existing ties to the area. Public information indicates that the campground offers sites and RV hook-ups situated on a protected harbor. This harbor provides direct boat access to Girl Lake and the entire Woman Lake Chain, making it an ideal spot for serious anglers and boaters looking for reliable, long-term access to some of Minnesota’s most famous waters.

While there has been public discussion regarding the park's accessibility to non-seasonal guests, the fact remains that it provides a specific, valued service: dedicated, seasonal residency on a prime piece of Cass County lakeside real estate.
Longville Campground is strategically located in a serene, lake-rich area of Cass County, which is considered a cornerstone of Minnesota's vacation geography. The campground's setting places it immediately adjacent to the waters that form the famous Woman Lake Chain, which is highly prized for its recreational and fishing opportunities. Used to be a wonderful place years ago - growing up in Longville you could go there to fish & visit friends in the trailers. As a kid they would give you old fishing gear and bring you a snack or drink. Now the prick owner, runs you off and Says it is for people that have trailers only. So I just go back home and get my boat and pull up in it because he doesn't own the lake. That way I can say hi to my life long friends too. To prove this is not just a person making a bad comment - I've added two pictures of my brother and I as children, catching our very very first fish ever with our father in Austin Swamp. The waters there will always be special to us - my father might just buy they park and allow other people to visit and not be a prick like the rude, selfish, inconsiderate owner now... My dad owns many businesses in Longville and talks often about buying it and tearing it down to make a new city park to give back to the community. I hope he does and gets rid of the godless, selfish man there now that is rude to other people all because he owns the property and doesn't care if you are friends with people in the trailer park. Check out and like our two pictures catching our first fish ever and children there... It must have had a nice cool owner then, because we were welcome and made life long friends in many of the trailers. Some of them even have their friends come stay with us when they are in town.
