Introduction / Overview
Lost Acres Camping Resort/Eatery, situated just outside of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, represents a unique combination of a traditional, local campground experience and a highly-regarded, small-scale dining destination. For years, the region's campers and visitors have enjoyed the peaceful setting offered by the resort. What has recently garnered significant attention from the local Pennsylvania community, however, is the establishment’s accompanying restaurant, or "Eatery."
Unlike many campgrounds where the food service is a simple snack bar, the Eatery at Lost Acres has earned passionate, high-praise reviews from patrons who visit solely for the cuisine. Customers consistently highlight the food as "SO delicious," featuring good portion sizes, and available at very reasonable prices. This dual identity—a serene place to camp and a must-try local spot for a homemade meal—makes Lost Acres a distinctive location in Central Pennsylvania. It is a place that successfully caters to both the long-term seasonal camper and the local resident simply looking for a fantastic place to dine.
Location and Accessibility
Lost Acres Camping Resort/Eatery is conveniently located at 15235 Coudersport Pike, Lock Haven, PA 17745, USA. The Coudersport Pike (Route 664) is a key thoroughfare in this region of Clinton County, making the resort easily accessible for local residents and those traveling through Central Pennsylvania. This strategic location places the resort near some of the region's most notable outdoor attractions, including the expansive Tiadaghton and Sproul State Forests, which are popular for hiking, hunting, and exploring the vast Pennsylvania Wilds.
Its proximity to Lock Haven ensures that campers and diners are never far from necessary supplies, gas stations, and the full range of services offered by the city. For those utilizing the campground as a base for adventure, the location provides a quick and comfortable retreat after a long day exploring the trails or fishing the streams of Central PA. For the local diner, the Coudersport Pike address offers a pleasant drive to a destination that is slightly removed from the city bustle, contributing to the "clean" and "welcoming" atmosphere often noted by visitors.
Services Offered
As a combined camping resort and dining establishment, Lost Acres provides a valuable range of services to both its overnight guests and the local public. The dual-focus model means it excels in offering high-quality food, while also providing the essential amenities expected of a modern campground. It is highly recommended that potential campers contact the resort directly to confirm the exact type and availability of sites and hookups for their specific needs, though public data suggests a full range of camping options are available.

Campsites and RV Accommodations: The "resort" designation strongly suggests dedicated RV sites, likely including utility hookups (electric, water, and sewer), and potentially sites for tent camping or seasonal stays. Campers should call ahead to confirm hookup amperage and site features.
Clean Facilities: Customer reviews note that "The restaurant and store are very clean," suggesting a high standard of cleanliness is maintained across the public areas of the property.
Camp Store: As a common feature of camping resorts, a camp store is typically available to supply campers with essential goods, camping necessities, snacks, and perhaps local souvenirs.
Customer Service: The experience at the Eatery is reported to have "great" service, indicating a commitment to friendly and professional staff interaction with all guests.

My review is based on their small restaurant since I haven't camped there. This place is not to be missed, and the food was SO delicious!! I wish I knew about it sooner, having lived in the area for over 4 years. I had the stuffed pepper special, and my cousin had the chicken parm sandwich. The prices are very reasonable. The service was great. I will definitely be back!
May 17, 2025 · KristinI’ve been to the restaurant several times and order something different each time. Every meal has been delicious. They have good portion sizes and reasonable prices. The restaurant and store are very clean. Highly recommended.
Jul 06, 2025 · Brandie BWe ended up here unexpectedly. We were supposed to camp in the state park, but my car wouldn't make it down the unpaved roads. We stopped at an inn/restaurant to try to get a room, they were full. The person at the inn called this campground and the made a tent site for us on 10 minutes notice. I will go back as often as possible!! The sky is magnificent there. We went to view the Persieds, and saw SO much more. I saw the milky way irl for the first time. Lost acres should be on every campers bucket list. 10/10
Oct 20, 2024 · Shelley BrennemanThis score was once a one! The Bardos' are making great improvements to this place. The pool was reopened, after previous owners closed it down for several years. It is filled and clean. Kids, of every age, have fun in it. The store has been reopened. They make great subs and have ice cream and an arcade for the kids. And, the store keeps growing with more and more goods all the time. Say hi to Tracy when visiting the store.
Apr 08, 2019 · Thomas MartinWe really enjoyed our 8 day stay here. The arcade and pool were hits with our kids. The restaurant is SO GOOD. Seriously, get the pancakes! The people who run this campground are so nice and helpful. We will be back the next time we come through.
