We've been here since June 2020, and the place has done nothing but improve. Art, the owner, is a really nice guy. Lucene, the manager, is friendly and helpful. The maintenance lady works her tail off. She's ALWAYS out-and-about doing SOMETHING. The area is noisy because of the proximity to a very busy highway and main-drag streets, but the park itself is quiet. I hope that Art will be able to convert a few more spots for RVs.
Friendly folks. The folks who take care of the grounds are always out working on some improvements. You can tell they really care about making this a nice place to live. The neighbors are friendly. The pads are all level and concrete; many lots have driveways and off street parking. The streets are wide and kept up.
I called this evening on a Sunday night. The manager answered the phone. I apologized and he was okay with it. Only to ask me what I needed. He gave me information about his Park even though they didn't have any places to rent. But he gave me a list of other parks in the area. I tried to hit five stars but it wouldn't let me. This man is Ace in my book definite Ace. I would love to live there just because he was the manager and it sounds like he cares. There we go and let me hit five stars. Guess I had to keep talking!
Extremely upset - Enquired about a monthly stay during season. They asked if I had any pets when I stated that I have a service dog and then 1 pet. He said "no they are too big, have a good day" and put the phone down in my ear. 😐 what?? Never asked what breed or weight. 😤
I was about to buy a trailer and the owner of the trailer woke up with a note posted on her door saying that I had to be there by tomorrow before noon for the application and background check. I work 60+ hours a week and I work 6am to 4 PM the day he wants me there. So I called to ask for some leeway (drop off the application, come by on wednsday on my day off when I have the time, etc.) And he began literally SCREAMING at me, repeating "nonononononono" and wouldnt let me finish. He began to insult me for working at GM motors when I dont work there, I work as a general manager of a local resteraunt chain. My family all lives in this trailer park so I was hoping to move closer to them, but after being screamed at for asking for an extension on what was less than a 24 hour notice, I will never step foot in this park again. I dont know who I talked to, i would say an older gentleman but I have to be honest and say some cranky old man. I think his name was art?
