For many Floridians, particularly those in the Tampa Bay area, Meadowbrook Village presents itself as a potential option for mobile home living. The appeal of such communities often lies in their ability to provide a more affordable entry into homeownership compared to traditional real estate, while still offering a sense of community and the convenience of a managed living environment. Meadowbrook Village's location at 8920 Sheldon Rd in Tampa, FL, places it within a vibrant and accessible part of the city, which is a significant advantage for locals seeking proximity to employment centers, shopping, healthcare, and recreational activities that the Tampa Bay region is renowned for.

The concept of a mobile home park resonates with the Florida lifestyle, often characterized by a desire for practicality and community spirit. Such communities can foster close-knit relationships among neighbors, offering shared amenities and a more relaxed pace of life than might be found in denser urban settings. For locals, this can translate into a supportive environment where residents look out for one another and common interests are shared.

However, it is imperative to address the feedback from existing customers, which includes significant concerns about safety, management effectiveness, and potential issues with property rentals within the park. Comments about stolen car parts, the need for personal security cameras, observed police activity, and issues with pest control and alleged illegal splitting of homes by management are serious matters that prospective residents must consider. While a community's location and general concept might be appealing, the day-to-day living experience is heavily influenced by safety and competent management.

Therefore, while Meadowbrook Village offers the foundational benefits of a mobile home community in a desirable Florida location, its suitability for locals hinges on a thorough investigation of these reported issues. For those considering this community, it would be crucial to visit the park, speak with current residents where possible, and engage directly with management to understand how these concerns are being addressed. It's a nice place in a dangerous area. In this community, my car's tire covers were stolen. I had to put a camera on. I often see police officers searching for something in some houses.

Rats are coming in because of poor management, this park wasn’t like this, ever since management changed and also they are splitting houses up and the owners will rent them out, and collect rent, this is illegal. I do not recommend this place to no one.

It is a neat community with a very nice center, but it is not very safe and has many cats that damage cars, gardens and property. Also, there are neighbors who run and walk their pets around the property.

I’ve been living here less than a year, and so far: • the neighborhood is beautiful, but full of cats which I love and have no issue with other than the fact that there are about 20 per street, and I feel like someone might be breeding or people just don’t know how to care for their cats and also dead cats all around. •neighborhood is pretty quiet during the day, but there is loud music every other night it seems and it’s from all around the neighborhood, sometimes even the office when there is an event, it didn’t bother us at first compared to our last apartment but it’s starting to get ridiculous, from like 1pm-1am just loud music and parties, you can’t really do much but call the police even though there is a noise ordinance in the neighborhood. • management/employees are kind for the most part but I did have an issue with the manager threatening to make us late on our rent our third month here, because I had asked to be spoken to politely after she seemed annoyed by my questions. It seemed like a bad day maybe, but I felt threatened and helpless as a new homeowner and young homeowner, she refused to speak to me but would speak to my boyfriend who was there thankfully. but the other office assistance or manager is super kind and helpful, I would recommend her she’s in the first office when you enter the office area. • pot holes and things were fixed when we first moved in and we’ve had no other issues in the neighborhood pertaining to that, it’s actually very well kept.
