Promotions or Special Offers

As an MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) facility, MWR Northwest Stewart RV Campground's pricing and any "promotions" are typically structured to provide value to its eligible patrons. While traditional public campgrounds might offer seasonal discounts or package deals, MWR facilities usually focus on consistently competitive rates for military and DoD personnel.

Specific offers are generally integrated into the MWR system's overall benefits. It's always advisable for eligible Virginians to check the official Navy MWR Hampton Roads website or contact the campground directly for the most current information. They might occasionally offer special rates for longer stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates which are often more economical than daily rates), or participate in broader MWR initiatives. The pricing is already designed to be a benefit for eligible users, often significantly lower than comparable civilian campgrounds in the region. Given the maximum stay can extend up to 180 days with potential for 365, longer-term rates are a key advantage. To inquire about specific rates, availability for extended stays, or any potential MWR-wide promotions that might apply to Stewart Campground, we highly recommend calling the campground directly at the provided phone numbers. Their staff will be able to provide the most accurate and up-to-date pricing and policy information tailored to eligible personnel.

Awesome campground. Check in was slightly confusing but we figured it out. Very quiet. Front half has full hook ups back half does not. We were in the back half but was good either way since it had water and 50 amp. Highly reccomend for any military looking for a short term or long term place to camp. Website reservation was very easy and they did a courtesy call day prior.

Moved to different sites, most sites have no sewer hookup, one camper called the cops (base police and Chesapeake police) on my kids for playing outside and riding bikes around the campground. Not once, but twice. Tree limb fell and dented our car and our 5th wheel antenna. I don't recommend this campsite or the base with few to zero amenities to anyone. No laundry, water tastes like well water, no wifi, and no thank you ever again!

Quiet campground in out of the way location. $24 p/night full HU and concrete pads. You will need a toad if you need groceries because NEX is a hike. Check in at the Mariner which is on the left just past the chapel BEFORE you go thru the gate .

New ~ 30' parking concrete pads, patio and picnic tables with water and electric for $22. Some sites have sewer too. Ballahack road from hwy 17 for 7 miles was not pleasant because it had some low trees (we're 13.5' high), numerous large trucks and it didn't have a shoulder. After turning onto Relay Rd, pull into parking lot on left a block before gate to check in after 11am. Gate security had to move the barriers so we could drive straight.
