For residents of Georgia, especially those in the Savannah area, Nassau Woods Mobile Home Community offers a housing option that aligns with several key considerations for local living. While some areas for improvement have been noted in community feedback, the core offerings make it a suitable choice for a segment of the local population seeking specific housing solutions.
Firstly, affordability remains a primary draw. Mobile home parks, including Nassau Woods, typically present a more cost-effective path to homeownership or stable long-term living compared to the often higher prices of traditional homes or apartments in Savannah's competitive market. For individuals and families looking to manage their housing budget more efficiently, the option to own a mobile home and lease a lot can be a significant financial advantage, allowing for greater financial flexibility.
Secondly, the community's established nature and large size can be appealing. While reviews suggest a diverse mix of home conditions and a "cramped" layout, an established community often implies a certain stability and existing social fabric. For those who appreciate a neighborhood where people have roots and a sense of collective identity, this can be a positive aspect. The potential presence of a large Hispanic population also indicates a vibrant cultural component, which can enrich the living experience for those seeking diversity and community connection.
Lastly, the practical location on Dean Forest Road with excellent access to major interstates (I-16 and I-95) is a clear benefit for locals. Georgians value convenience in their daily lives, and this accessibility streamlines commutes to work, school, and essential services within Savannah and beyond. Despite past feedback on internal road conditions, the external connectivity remains strong, ensuring residents can easily navigate the wider metropolitan area. For locals prioritizing affordability and convenient access within Savannah, Nassau Woods Mobile Home Community warrants consideration as a viable housing solution.
Customer Reviews
I drove through looking for a particular address. This place is huge. It seems to have a large Hispanic population. Trailers vary a lot in style and cleanliness. Some look so old it is hard to believe they are inhabited and others are new. Then there's the old ones that have been fixed up so nicely. Overall this community is too cramped.
Water pressure sucks. Cold water lines are full of what appears to be calcification and barely runs in toilet or shower. Obviously the current owners are not properly treating the water. Management is not attentive at all. Water issue has existed for more than a few months. Large potholes on main thorough fare too. Like navigating a mind field.
My mother lived here for 18 years. I remember coming to visit her and seeing every yard nice, all trailers nice, no trash or lose pets running around, lots of families. I came back last year to see her and was horrified, trash, run down trailers, loud music all the time, no kids playing, just tons of teenaged punks. This place has gone to s**t.
Very bad costumer services at Franlin Co and office always closed and highly lot rent and ballroom everything highly cost for the poor service and old looking place. They went higher on rent for the second time in less than one year. Loud music and kids can't because it's not safe with people driving 25-35 mph
Roads need to be fixed desperately. Dirty place unlike other mobile communities. No good curbside appeal, they need to invest on adding grass and trees. They love to raise rent annually but don't use it for the community. Too much crime, they again refuse to invest in cameras.
