We will incorporate these points directly to ensure transparency and provide a complete perspective for anyone considering this location for their home.
For individuals and families in Georgia contemplating mobile home living, thorough research is key. This article is designed to equip you with information specific to MHP Savannah Air LLC, enabling you to ask pertinent questions and make a decision that best suits your needs and expectations for a safe and comfortable home.
MHP Savannah Air LLC is located at 5008 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31405, USA. This address places the mobile home park in Savannah, Georgia, on a significant thoroughfare. Ogeechee Road (US-17) is a major north-south route that provides connectivity to various parts of the city and surrounding areas.
Being situated on Ogeechee Road means that residents would generally have straightforward access to local amenities. This typically includes proximity to grocery stores, gas stations, and various retail establishments. Depending on the specific section of Ogeechee Road, residents might find diverse dining options, and access to other services commonly found along major commercial corridors.
The location in Savannah also implies a reasonable commute to the city's employment centers, the historic downtown area, and leisure attractions. While specific travel times would depend on traffic conditions, a location on a main road often facilitates easier movement around the city for those with personal vehicles. Public transportation options, if available in the immediate vicinity, would also contribute to accessibility.
However, it is crucial to consider that being on a major road can also mean exposure to traffic noise. Prospective residents should assess the specific environment of the park to determine if it meets their expectations for a peaceful living space, alongside the convenience of access. The accessibility offered by its Ogeechee Road address is a practical aspect of MHP Savannah Air LLC's location.
Based on the general operations of mobile home parks, MHP Savannah Air LLC would typically offer the following core services, although the quality and execution of these services are a point of concern in customer reviews:
- Lot Rental: The primary service is the rental of land lots where residents can place their manufactured homes. This generally includes providing utility hook-ups to each lot.
- Utility Connections: Mobile home parks are expected to provide connections for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity to each individual lot. While residents typically pay their own utility bills, the park is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure up to the connection point.
- Property Maintenance (Common Areas): Mobile home park owners are generally responsible for maintaining common areas, including roads, lighting, and shared infrastructure. Reviews, however, suggest significant issues with the upkeep of the land and potentially the underlying septic systems.
- Waste Management: Most mobile home parks arrange for trash collection services for their residents.
- Management Support: A management team or owner is typically in place to address resident inquiries, collect rent, enforce park rules, and manage maintenance requests. However, customer feedback indicates dissatisfaction with the responsiveness and professionalism of the management regarding critical issues.
The reviews specifically mention issues with septic tanks that are "underground," suggesting the park provides and maintains a centralized septic system or individual septic systems that fall under park responsibility. The complaints indicate that these systems are not being "PROPERLY/PROFESSIONALLY FIXed" and require draining, with concerns about health and safety hazards. There are also mentions of "broken water pipes" and "water leaking under your trailer," pointing to issues with the water infrastructure. Residents also raise concerns about the "high" rent in light of these alleged maintenance failures.
Given the nature of the provided customer reviews, it is challenging to identify traditional "highlights" that would be universally positive. However, it is important to factually present what information is available, including reported negative aspects as "features" that prospective tenants should be aware of. This approach ensures transparency and aligns with a factual, albeit cautious, promotional tone for a local business with mixed public feedback.
Therefore, based on the provided customer reviews, here are some points to consider:
- Location on a Major Road: The park's address on Ogeechee Road provides direct access to a significant thoroughfare in Savannah, which offers convenience for commuting and accessing local amenities like stores and restaurants.
- Owner and Management Concerns: Reviews highlight significant dissatisfaction with the owner (referred to as "Greg," described as "Russian" and "shady") and park management. Issues raised include allegations of unprofessional repairs, health and safety hazards, and a lack of proper maintenance for critical infrastructure like septic tanks and water pipes.
- Maintenance Issues: Tenants report "broken water pipes," "water leaking under your trailer," and neglected "septic tanks" that need draining. These are described as ongoing problems impacting living conditions and posing health risks, particularly for children playing outside.
- Condition of Trailers: Reviews mention that "the trailers out here are in bad shape," indicating that the physical condition of the mobile homes within the park may be a concern for prospective residents.
- Cost vs. Value: Rent is described as "high" given the reported poor maintenance and ongoing issues, suggesting a mismatch between the cost of living and the quality of services and property upkeep.
- Tenant Advocacy Efforts: Residents have reportedly notified the city and a local news channel (WTOC) and sent pictures regarding the conditions, indicating active attempts by tenants to address the issues through external channels.
It is crucial for any potential resident to investigate these reported concerns thoroughly, as they directly impact safety, health, and quality of life.
Based on the extremely critical nature of the provided customer reviews, there is no public information or indication of MHP Savannah Air LLC offering any promotions or special offers to attract new residents. The reviews heavily focus on significant maintenance and management issues, suggesting that the park's current priority, as perceived by its residents, is not on marketing incentives but on addressing fundamental living conditions.
In situations where mobile home parks face such strong negative feedback regarding health, safety, and property upkeep, it is highly unlikely that they would be actively promoting discounts or special offers. Instead, their efforts would typically be directed towards resolving reported problems and improving resident satisfaction to retain existing tenants.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact MHP Savannah Air LLC directly for any information regarding current rental rates or any terms of lease. However, given the severe concerns raised in the reviews, it would be prudent to prioritize thorough on-site investigation and careful consideration of the reported conditions over any potential promotional offers that might otherwise seem appealing.

It is highly recommended that prospective residents use these contact points to directly address the concerns raised in public reviews, such as maintenance issues, septic system conditions, and general property upkeep, before making any commitments. When considering MHP Savannah Air LLC at 5008 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31405, USA, for local Georgians, it is imperative to approach with extreme caution and a clear understanding of the significant concerns raised by current residents. Based on the provided public reviews, this mobile home park presents a challenging living environment, and its suitability is heavily impacted by alleged unaddressed health, safety, and maintenance issues. Therefore, any perceived suitability must be viewed through the lens of a highly critical assessment.
From the perspective of locals seeking affordable housing, mobile home parks can often be a viable option. MHP Savannah Air LLC's location on a main road in Savannah does offer practical accessibility to city amenities, which might initially appear convenient. However, the benefits of location are severely undermined by the detailed complaints regarding fundamental living conditions.
The core issues highlighted by residents—such as malfunctioning and unsanitary septic tanks, broken water pipes leading to leakage, and a general lack of professional property maintenance—raise serious concerns about habitability and safety, especially where children are present. The allegations of high rent despite these conditions, and unresponsive management, indicate a potentially significant disparity between cost and value provided. These are critical factors that directly impact the quality of life and long-term well-being of residents.
While the goal of such communities is typically to provide stable and affordable homes, the reported circumstances at MHP Savannah Air LLC suggest that it may not currently meet the basic standards expected for comfortable and safe residential living. For local Georgians considering this park, thorough and independent verification of the property's current state is absolutely essential. This includes personally inspecting sites, engaging with existing tenants if possible, and consulting with relevant local authorities (such as the health department or tenant rights organizations in Georgia) regarding the reported issues. It is crucial to prioritize personal safety and well-being over any immediate availability or perceived affordability, as the long-term costs of health hazards and constant disrepair can far outweigh initial savings. Based on the provided information, MHP Savannah Air LLC, as described by its residents, currently presents more suitability challenges than benefits for locals.
Customer Reviews
How the hell can yall ask for homeowners insurance and the owners don't even take care of the land??? We know the people in the front offices of your trailer parks get a BONUS when they hire some bozo off the street to "fix" your issues so that way the OWNERS don't have to pay a PROFESSIONAL to do the work! The septic tanks are UNDERGROUND which means it's the OWNERS problem to FIX and by fix we mean PROPERLY/PROFESSIONALLY FIX. These septic tanks need to be DRAINED. Not have some crackhead the office paid to come cover it with a pile of dirt or concrete. That is a HEALTH hazard and SAFTY issue. Children are playing outside! The city has been notified and WTOC has been called and pictures have been sent in. Yall have all the money to do this the right way yet yall don't want to. Instead things are worsening and becoming more difficult for us and yall are steady digging in pockets. How about yall get professionals in your trailer parks and stop giving bonuses out to the park managers when they find the nearest, willing crackheads.
It's not good here the owner is a Ruussian and from what his Manger says about him is that he is shady and his name is Greg and the trailers out here are in bad shape and he is a slum lord and mess up broken water pipes and the plumbing pipes is bad you have water leaking under your trailer the rents high out here and everything
Terrible place. All the mobile homes are old and raggedy. The cottages are raggedy and run down and full of bugs. The landlord and owner are SLUMLORDS!!! He neglects his properties and just collect money. They lied on there website saying the new owners cleaned up. The trash in the front is always all over the place. They have a bad stray cat problem to the point the cats have trash everywhere and the owners will not call someone to help the issue. They pose to have a people cut the grass every week which is a lie they only cut it maybe once a month. I had bees in my walls. Roof fell in when it rained bad and owner did not want to pay for the damages but still wanted his rent. They don't have a reliable maintenance person. They hire drug users and maintenance people. Who don't know what they doing or don't fix problems at all. If you value your money and valuables DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! I only gave one star because I had to only to post a review. TAll the properties owned buy this company are being neglected and they are either rundown not liveable or need to be condemned.
This place needs to be investigated they are breaking A lot of Garden City codes but they are getting away with it, sounds like the code inspector in on it. They are taking advantage of the immigrants. Also they just raised the rent and they are going to raise it again in the next few months.
They are very unorganized! They let certain residents have special privilegs! I used to live there 15 years ago and it was great. The new management is fast to tow your vehicles if you don't park the way they want you to, but only certain people! Si renta a los hispanos pero son Muy rascistas!
