Had an amazing!! Memorial weekend at this hidden treasure of a campground. We stayed on the tent sites & it was so peaceful. The camp hosts were very accommodating & easy to work with. The amenities were super clean & the showers were warm!!! We will definitely be coming back here to stay again.
This place was amazing. Everything was kept supper clean. The workers where some of the kindest and friendliest people we have incountered. There where 5 children in our group and they had plenty of places for them to play. The trails where great for kids as well. This is a great place for large groups especially if you have young ones.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It's wooded and secluded yet you're close to town if you need to repair anything/want to go see historic sites. The caregivers were very friendly and quick to help when we had questions. Firewood and ice are available on site. The bathrooms and laundry facility were clean and well taken care of. We were also impressed how often they patrol the area/park to ensure only campers were on site at night. The campground has a small playground and there is also a larger playground a few minutes walk down the hill, plus trails nearby to hike.
