We love Pioneer campground we’ve been coming here for many many years. The owners who have had it for the last few years are absolutely wonderful. Everything is always clean, always maintain.
Jul 22, 2025 · Kathryn TuckerLovely campground about 3 hours out from Philly. This campground is also about 15 minutes from World End State Park. Beautiful scenic views and hiking trails all around. Great area for stargazers as well. Sites are very generously spaced out and the grounds are dog friendly. It seemed liked everyone had a dog and despite that, it was very quiet and all were very well behaved. We stayed in cabin 2, and the cabin itself is was nice. It came with a mini fridge, table queen bed and two sets of bunks in separate room. AC/heat available. WiFi is a bit spotty but I would only use it mostly to check the weather and do bare minimum with it anyways. There is a nice large stone built fire pit, and a separate charcoal grill. We didn’t get to explore the pool much as it was rainy on our weekend. Instead we hung out at the pavilion played some games. We also did the hiking trail which is about 1.50-2 miles long. We ran into the owners a few times and they were always very nice and personable. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely like to return in the future.
Aug 18, 2024 · Kellie MausBeautiful, clean, and friendly. We have stayed here several times over the years. It continues to improve! So nice to camp in the woods and it is still easy to maneuver large rigs throughout. Sites are huge and individually maintained, even the fire pits are clean and tidy. We arrived Wednesday before a holiday weekend. We watched as everything was cleaned up and made ready for all of the incoming guests. And the young people doing the work were so friendly! Laundry facilities are beautiful!
