Services Offered

Port Valhalla Campground, LLC provides essential services and amenities designed to support a comfortable and engaging camping experience, particularly for those with RVs or trailers:

Features / Highlights

Port Valhalla Campground, LLC distinguishes itself with several key features that shape its unique camping atmosphere:

  • Lively and Social Atmosphere: One of the most notable features, as highlighted by reviews, is its vibrant and energetic social scene. This campground is described as a "great place to party" with "loud singing, yelling," and music, making it ideal for those who enjoy a festive and communal camping experience rather than quiet solitude.

  • Well-Kept Grounds: Despite the lively atmosphere, the campground is consistently described as "very nice and well kept." This indicates a commitment to maintaining the physical property, providing a pleasant environment for campers.

  • Clean Bathroom Facilities: The presence of clean bathrooms with showers, even with the caveat about bringing toilet paper, is a practical feature that enhances guest comfort.

Promotions or Special Offers

Given the nature of Port Valhalla Campground, LLC, particularly its emphasis on seasonal sites and a vibrant social atmosphere, traditional "promotions" might not be as common as at other, more transient campgrounds. However, visitors seeking to book a stay should consider the following:

  • Seasonal Site Availability: For those looking for a long-term summer base, inquiring about seasonal site availability is a key consideration. While these often require a larger upfront commitment, they typically offer better per-night value than short-term stays over an entire season, especially when considering the community aspect.

  • Direct Booking Benefits: For the most accurate and up-to-date information on daily, weekly, or seasonal rates, and to discuss any specific needs or potential flexibility, contacting the campground directly via phone is always the best approach. Speaking with the "extremely friendly and easy to get along with" owner can provide personalized details.

  • Value of Atmosphere: For campers who specifically seek a lively, social, and potentially "party" oriented environment, the unique atmosphere itself can be considered a major "offer" or value proposition, as not all campgrounds provide this specific vibe.

  • Off-Peak Opportunities: While the campground is known for its noise during peak times, visiting during less busy periods (e.g., specific weekdays outside of major holidays) might offer a slightly different experience, potentially with more available sites or a marginally quieter atmosphere, though the general social nature should still be expected.

It's always recommended to contact Port Valhalla Campground, LLC directly to discuss their current rates, specific site availability, and any policies, especially regarding noise or seasonal bookings.

We came here to camp with our kids, our friends and their kids. There were things we liked and didn’t like about this campground. NOISE It was the loudest campground we have ever been to. There don’t appear to be any quiet times here. There were several very loud parties nearby with loud singing, yelling and cursing. Our immediate neighbors waited until 11 pm to turn on their music. People also drove their golf carts around after midnight with stereos playing. This would be a great place to party, but if you want to get a little sleep it might not be for you. LAKE We are told the lake gives swimmers itch and there wasn’t really much of a swimming area. We didn’t go in the lake. EVERYTHING ELSE The majority of sites here are seasonal with a few people like us coming and going. Everyone was VERY friendly. The owner of the campground was also extremely friendly and easy to get along with. Our site had water and electricity which was nice. The bathrooms were clean and have showers, although make sure you bring your own toilet paper because there wasn’t any.

Lee was wonderful and very accommodating! Bathrooms were clean and basically were like they were ours being there were no other campers there, which the kids loved! The only issue we had was not having septic hookup and being there for a couple weeks meant we had to drive the RV 2 miles down the road to have it dumped, drive it back and reset everything up again. BUT, short term, it would be just fine! The campground was very quiet and and the seasonals/year rounders were very nice.

Great campground if you have a camper, boat, and are looking to spend some time on the lake. I wish there would have been more shore fishing available. Docks are privately owned so they are off limits. Getting a camper and boat to the campground may require two trips.
