Customer Reviews
So far the communication with these people have been absolutely like having a tooth pulled. I included several questions when I made the reservations and got no response. So I emailed again and they seem put out to answer them. And just a FYI - you are like me and thought by the description saying, "Kayaks are provided as well as drop-off upriver." that meant that the cost of kayaks were included in your rental, you'd be wrong just as I was. There is also mention of a hot tub when you are finalizing the reservation under general but I'm gonna guess that is my error as well.
Beautiful place tucked right in the Red River Gorge so the hiking trails are everywhere. So peaceful with nature all around you.
Can't say enough about this cute little place. We really enjoyed staying here for two nights on our vacation. Ken and Judy are extremely friendly, and willing to help with whatever they can. We stayed in the Red River Gorge Glamper. They are all pretty secluded, and ours even had a little creek running behind the beautiful fire pit. Ken and Judy thought of everything- mats for kids to sleep on the ground, charcoal, paper towels, its all there... The refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker proved to be a good addition as well!! My family's only complaint is the outhouse.. while I laughed, my city kids had a hard time adjusting 😅 Everything was absolutely perfectly clean, and the shower is spacious. There's no service here, so plan for a very quiet time. Directly across the street is the kayak service, which was so much fun. The trails are beautiful and the glamper was a nice relaxing place to come home to. I firmly believe that if we had needed anything, Ken and Judy would have had been happy to help us. We would absolutely recommend this glamper to families who like the outdoor adventures with some ammenities.
