Its location provides an excellent base for exploring the wider region. The park is noted as being just a few miles from Stone Mountain State Park, a major attraction known for its iconic granite dome, extensive hiking trails, and beautiful waterfalls. This proximity allows RVers to easily combine their wine country relaxation with outdoor adventure. Furthermore, Traphill is part of the larger Yadkin Valley wine region, meaning other vineyards and local attractions are within reasonable driving distance, offering ample opportunities for day trips and exploration. Roaring River Vineyards RV Park, while offering a unique combined experience, does not publicly advertise specific, ongoing "promotions" in the traditional sense through the provided information. However, its affiliation as a "Harvest Hosts location" serves as a significant special offer in itself for members of that program.
For Harvest Hosts members, the primary "offer" is typically a free overnight stay at participating wineries, farms, breweries, and attractions, provided the RVer makes a purchase from the host business (in this case, the winery/restaurant). This offers tremendous value for members seeking unique, off-the-beaten-path camping experiences.
For non-Harvest Hosts members or those planning longer stays, RV parks of this nature might offer:
- Weekly or Monthly Rates: It is common for RV parks to provide discounted rates for extended stays compared to nightly bookings.
- Bundle Deals: Given the on-site winery and restaurant, it's possible they might occasionally offer packages that combine an RV stay with a wine tasting, special dinner, or tour, though this is not confirmed.
- Off-Season Rates: During less busy times of the year, rates might be adjusted to encourage visits.

Beautiful Facility on ample private property. Nice riverside bungalows and a small, open air event center. Several back-in camp sites with 50A power. Dump station and potable water available. Two pull thru sites. A great Harvest Hosts location just a few miles from Stone Mtn State Park.
Great place to RV camp. Electric hookups with a nearby water and sewer dump station. Only about 10-12 sites so it’s small. There was only one other camper when we were there. There is a winery/restaurant on the property too. Easy walk to the creek.
