Let's explore what makes Royal Valley Mobile Home Community a potential home in Hubert, NC.
Royal Valley Mobile Home Community benefits from a well-located position at 221 Riggs Rd #112, Hubert, NC 28539, USA. Hubert, nestled in Onslow County, is a growing community in coastal North Carolina, known for its proximity to significant military installations and natural attractions. The park's address on Riggs Road places it within an area that offers a balance of residential peace and convenient access to key regional hubs.
The community's location is particularly advantageous for several reasons:
- Proximity to Camp Lejeune: Hubert serves as a vital residential area for military personnel and their families associated with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Royal Valley's location would likely offer a manageable commute to the base, which is a critical consideration for many residents in this area.
- Coastal Access: Residents can enjoy relatively easy access to North Carolina's stunning Crystal Coast. Nearby towns like Swansboro, Emerald Isle, and the beautiful beaches provide ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, water sports, and enjoying the coastal lifestyle.
- Local Amenities: Essential services, including grocery stores, gas stations, local shops, and dining establishments, are generally within a short drive in Hubert or the larger nearby city of Jacksonville. This ensures convenience for daily errands and necessities.
This strategic location allows residents of Royal Valley Mobile Home Community to benefit from the quieter pace of a smaller town while remaining well-connected to larger employment centers, military facilities, and the appealing natural beauty of the North Carolina coast. The balance of accessibility and a residential setting makes it an attractive option for a variety of residents.
Royal Valley Mobile Home Community, as a long-standing residential park, is equipped to provide the foundational services necessary for comfortable and managed living. While specific, exhaustive lists of amenities can vary and are best confirmed directly with management, typical services offered in such communities generally include:
- Lot Rental: The primary service is the rental of individual lots or spaces where residents place their manufactured homes. Each lot typically includes hookups for essential utilities.
- Utility Hookups: Residents can expect readily available connections for vital utilities such as electricity, water, and sewer at each individual home site. In many mobile home communities, certain utilities like water, sewer, and trash removal might be included as part of the monthly lot rent, simplifying resident billing.
- On-Site Management/Office Staff: A key service highlighted by reviews is the presence of office staff ("Deborah, Cindy and Gena at the park's office"). Their role includes assisting residents with inquiries, managing leases, and addressing community concerns, providing a direct point of contact.
- Common Area Maintenance: The park management is typically responsible for maintaining shared spaces, including internal roads, communal green areas, and general landscaping, to ensure a pleasant environment for all residents.
- Waste Management: Most mobile home parks facilitate regular waste collection services for their residents, often through designated pick-up points or curbside service.
- Maintenance Services (for park-owned homes/issues): While a recent review mentioned delays in work orders, the presence of a "Maintenance man" indicates that repair and upkeep services are provided, particularly for park-owned homes or general community infrastructure issues.
Royal Valley Mobile Home Community distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal as a residential option in Hubert, NC. These aspects are often derived from the community's management philosophy and its impact on resident life, as reflected in customer feedback.
- Caring and Compassionate Office Staff: This is a significant highlight, with reviewers praising "amazing ladies as Deborah, Cindy and Gena at the park's office" for genuinely caring about "your wants and needs." Their approach is described as "NEVER pushy, just kind. Compassionate, not judgy just kind!" This level of personal, empathetic service is invaluable in a residential community and fosters a positive living environment.
- Family-Oriented Community: The description "A family community is the best way to explain it!!" indicates a welcoming and supportive environment for families. This suggests a neighborhood where residents feel a sense of belonging and where children might have opportunities to interact with peers.
- Affordable Housing Solution: Mobile home parks generally offer a more accessible path to homeownership or stable rental living compared to traditional stick-built homes, especially in areas like coastal North Carolina. This affordability is a core highlight for many residents.
- Sense of Belonging: The positive sentiment about looking "forward to making my home" and the description of a "family community" speaks to the park's ability to foster a strong sense of belonging and neighborly camaraderie among its residents.
- Convenient Location in Hubert: As detailed previously, the park's location on Riggs Road provides practical access to Camp Lejeune, local amenities in Hubert, and the recreational opportunities of the Crystal Coast, making daily life convenient for residents.
- Potential for Improvement: While some challenges with work orders under new management were noted, the open feedback suggests a community that is adapting. The positive initial interactions with office staff indicate a desire to improve and maintain a good living standard for residents.
When considering promotions or special offers at Royal Valley Mobile Home Community, it's important to understand that manufactured home parks typically operate differently from short-term rental properties. They focus on long-term residency, and their value proposition is often built into consistent, competitive pricing for lot rentals and any available homes for sale or rent. Specific, widely advertised, short-term promotions are less common.
However, potential "incentives" or value propositions that might be offered by a community like Royal Valley could include:
- Competitive Lot Rental Rates: The primary ongoing "promotion" is often the affordability of the monthly lot rent itself, making comfortable housing accessible compared to other options in the area.
- Availability of Homes for Rent or Purchase: If the park offers park-owned homes, these might come with specific rental terms or purchase incentives, which would be discussed directly with prospective residents.
- Long-Term Lease Benefits: Committing to a longer lease agreement (e.g., a 12-month lease versus month-to-month) can sometimes result in more stable rates or minor cost advantages, though this is not a guaranteed discount.
- Community Events/Amenities: While not a direct financial promotion, a "family community" might organize events or offer amenities that enhance resident life, adding value beyond the monthly rent.
Due to the nature of mobile home communities and the feedback about recent management changes, the most accurate and up-to-date information on any potential incentives, current lot availability, and pricing should always be obtained by directly contacting Royal Valley Mobile Home Community management. They will be able to provide details tailored to your specific needs.

We've been here for almost a year, and we love the place. It's not like a normal trailer park, it's actually just a small community. Cindy in the office has been sincerely caring and always friendly and professional. The maintenance men are very professional, quick to get any issues taken care of asap. Everyone that works here that We've dealt with are great, caring, friendly, and always professional.
