For RV enthusiasts across Arkansas, finding a convenient and functional place to park for a night or an extended period is often a key part of travel planning. In the heart of Russellville, Arkansas, Russellville RV Park offers a practical solution for those seeking easy access to local amenities and major roadways. While it might not be the sprawling recreational hub some imagine when they hear the word "park," it serves a crucial role for the RV community: providing straightforward, accessible spots for your vehicle.

Russellville RV Park is designed with the primary purpose of accommodating recreational vehicles, focusing on the essential services needed for a comfortable stay on the road. It's a place where the practicality of location meets the fundamental needs of an RVer, allowing for a convenient stopover or a temporary base from which to explore the surrounding Russellville area and beyond. For Arkansans traveling for work, visiting family, or simply passing through, this RV park offers a functional and accessible option. Understanding its specific role as a dedicated RV parking facility, rather than a full-fledged recreational park with extensive amenities like playgrounds, is key to appreciating its value within the local travel landscape.

Location and Accessibility

Russellville RV Park is strategically located at 120 S Durant Ave, Russellville, AR 72801, USA. This address places it within Russellville, a significant city in Arkansas, offering excellent accessibility for RV travelers coming from various directions across the state or beyond. Russellville is situated at the crossroads of major highways, including Interstate 40, making the RV park particularly convenient for those on longer journeys or needing quick access to transportation arteries.

The location on S Durant Ave typically implies relatively easy navigation for RVs of all sizes, avoiding the challenges of narrow residential streets. Its urban-adjacent placement means that guests have convenient access to a wide array of city amenities. Within a short drive, visitors can reach gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and other essential services that are crucial for RV travel. This accessibility to urban conveniences is a significant benefit, especially for those looking to restock supplies or grab a meal without venturing far from their temporary parking spot.

While the park itself focuses on providing functional RV parking, its location in Russellville also means proximity to regional attractions. Russellville is a gateway to the Arkansas River Valley and the Ozark National Forest, offering opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and exploring natural landscapes. Lake Dardanelle, a popular spot for fishing and water sports, is also nearby. This balance of urban convenience and access to natural beauty makes the Russellville RV Park a practical base for exploring both the city and the surrounding areas of Arkansas. The ease of getting in and out, coupled with nearby services, underscores its primary role as a convenient RV parking facility in a key Arkansas city.

Services Offered

Russellville RV Park, based on its primary function as an RV parking facility, focuses on providing the essential services necessary for comfortable and convenient RV stays. While it may not feature extensive recreational amenities, its core offerings are geared towards meeting the fundamental needs of RV travelers.

  • RV Parking Spaces: The main service offered is dedicated spaces for recreational vehicles. These spaces are designed to accommodate various RV lengths and types.
  • Full Hookups (Likely): While not explicitly detailed in the provided snippet, most RV parks, especially those catering to both short and potentially longer-term stays, typically offer full hookups. This usually includes:
    • Electric Hookups (30 and 50 amp): Essential for running onboard appliances.
    • Water Hookups: Providing potable water directly to the RV.
    • Sewer Hookups: Allowing for convenient wastewater disposal at each site.
  • Accessibility for Vehicles: The park provides clear access for vehicles, indicating dedicated spots for RVs to park securely.
  • Location for Short-Term/Temporary Stays: The park's primary service niche appears to be providing convenient parking for temporary use, whether for a single night, a few days, or potentially longer, depending on availability and park policies.

It is important to manage expectations regarding additional amenities beyond these core services. Unlike larger RV resorts or campgrounds geared towards extensive recreational activities, Russellville RV Park's focus is on providing functional and accessible parking with necessary utility connections. This makes it a practical choice for RVers whose priority is a convenient base while traveling through or staying in the Russellville area. For specific details on hookup types, site availability, and any additional services that might be offered, direct contact with the park management is always recommended.

Features / Highlights

Russellville RV Park, in its role as a functional and convenient RV parking facility, possesses certain features and highlights that are particularly valuable to RV travelers, especially those prioritizing accessibility and essential services in an urban setting. While it may not offer extensive recreational amenities, its strengths lie in its practicality.

  • Highly Accessible Location: One of the foremost highlights is its strategic location in Russellville, Arkansas, specifically on S Durant Ave. This provides exceptionally easy access to major roadways, including Interstate 40, making it an ideal stopover point for travelers navigating through Arkansas. For RVers, simple ingress and egress are crucial, and this park offers just that.
  • Proximity to City Amenities: Being situated within Russellville means immediate access to a wide array of urban conveniences. This includes nearby gas stations for refueling, grocery stores for restocking supplies, various restaurants for dining options, and other essential retail services. This convenience significantly reduces travel time for errands and enhances the overall ease of a stay.
  • Functional RV Parking Spaces: The park's core strength is its provision of dedicated spaces for RVs. These spots are designed to accommodate recreational vehicles, focusing on their specific needs for parking and potentially hookups.
  • Suitability for Short and Temporary Stays: For those needing a place to park for a night or a few days while on the road, or for individuals with temporary work in the Russellville area, the park offers a practical and straightforward solution. Its focus is on providing a base rather than a resort-style experience.
  • Direct Route to Nearby Attractions: While the park itself doesn't offer recreational facilities, its location in Russellville serves as a convenient launchpad for exploring the surrounding area. This includes Lake Dardanelle for fishing and water sports, and the broader natural beauty of the Arkansas River Valley and Ozark National Forest for hiking and outdoor activities.

It is important for prospective visitors to understand that the term "park" in "Russellville RV Park" specifically refers to a place for parking RVs, rather than a recreational park with playgrounds or extensive green spaces. The value of this RV park lies in its utility and location, providing a no-frills, practical solution for RVers needing a convenient stop in Russellville, Arkansas.

Promotions or Special Offers

Given that Russellville RV Park appears to operate primarily as a functional RV parking facility, often catering to short-term or temporary stays, it is less common for such establishments to run frequent or extensive "promotions" in the way a larger resort or leisure-focused campground might. Their pricing model is typically straightforward and based on the duration of the stay.

However, common practices for RV parks of this nature might include:

  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Rates: The primary "offer" often comes in the form of tiered pricing, where weekly rates are generally cheaper per night than daily rates, and monthly rates offer the most significant per-night savings. This incentivizes longer stays, which could be beneficial for individuals working in the area or extended visits.
  • Off-Season Rates: While Russellville has a relatively consistent climate, some RV parks might offer slightly reduced rates during less popular travel seasons, though this is not always a given for functional urban RV parks.

Based on the provided reviews, which highlight the utilitarian aspect of the park (a place to park a vehicle, not a recreational park), it is highly unlikely to find traditional promotional offers such as holiday discounts, package deals, or loyalty programs that are common in more amenity-rich RV resorts. The value proposition of Russellville RV Park lies in its practical accessibility and essential services for RVers.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on current pricing, availability, and any potential (though likely minimal) offers, the best approach is always to contact Russellville RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers. They will be able to provide the most precise details regarding rates for your specific needs.
