We got a call about 1 hour before checking into the RV park that they overbooked our site and asked us if we would be ok staying at the hotel in the casino. Traveling across the country with a dog, toddler, and newborn baby - simply moving out of the RV into a room requires a lot of logistics we were not prepared for especially during dinner time. (The main reason we RV) We tossed what we could into an IKEA bag and sent it anyways. The free room was lovely and all the free food was well worth it! The staff was very accommodating and they gave us everything we asked for due to the inconvenience. We love this place and hope they overbook our spot again next time! The grounds are lovely, great golf, great food, live music, and awesome pools! I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Definitely stop here if you can and hey, maybe they’ll overbook you too!
Jun 27, 2023 · JBBThis park was fine for a 2 night stay. The RV park was clean, easy walk to the casino and amenities. There are no shade trees so in the summer it's hot! The casino was fine (although we didn't win any money LOL ) The restaurants are very average, even the "high end" Ruthie's had below par food especially for the price. We heard the spa was very nice, but didn't get a chance to experience it. Good short-term or weekend getaway spot.
Aug 04, 2024 · SCS UnlimitedSeptember 2024. We stayed three nights here (not on purpose, trip planning error) in site #1. Sites are pull through, plenty long for a MH and toad and face east. Site 1 is reasonably level more toward the front end of the site. Hookups are well located. Clean 50amp power. Sewer is non-threaded. Water pressure is kind of low at 20psi, but we just filled and lived off the tank. It is quiet save for the occasional 18 wheeler on the rural highway behind the campground. It's a little tight getting out with longer rigs due to the placement of the trashcans. Reservations & Checking In: The campground is only 30% full now, unknown when it gets busy. I was not able to use the website to make a reservation, but getting a reservation via phone was fast and efficient. You do have to check in at the front desk (to the left walking in the main door) before going to the campground. Come in on Grand Falls Blvd - the casino parking lot is huge and plenty of room for the biggest rigs to maneuver (recommend unhooking the toad there). I've seen at least four RVs boondocking overnight in the main parking lot while we've been here, so that looks like an option as well.
Sep 20, 2024 · TheCherry RVLifeAbsolutely beautiful RV, clean ,and convenient park! Spotlessly clean and family friendly. The casino grounds were beautiful. And the sites overlook the golf course, which is lovely and quiet. The amenities were excellent here. A stunning indoor/outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. As a family, we stayed in the pool almost all day. We enjoyed our meals. The restaurants onsite have some great options, even for picky eaters. This is the nest casino rv park we've stayed at by far! A nice drive to Sioux Falls for sightseeing. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Mar 20, 2023 · Kate Toa PinatuboThis is a heavily graveled RV Park with excellent hook-up’s. There is no dog park area (but plenty of grass) and is no frills. Each site has a trash can. Ours was full w/ the top off the entire 2.5 days and was never emptied. You have to check-in at the hotel casino where they give you a key you have to use to access your electrical hook-ups. If you don’t return the key, you will be charged. It’s a inconvenient to walk it back to the casino when all you want to do after unhooking is hit the road. We were in site 16- would highly recommend that as that site is closest to the casino, bordering the driving range, sites on the driving range side farther from the casino and farther down the driving range are more likely to be hit by golf balls, I saw several on my walk that could potentially hit an RV. We went to Red Rock Bar & Grill on the first night, tasty burgers & a local road house feel. We went to the steak house casino in the 2nd day, food was decent. We gambled heavily for a few hours, large variety of newer slot machines. After the night wore on, we could NOT handle all the cigarette smoke. The ventilation of the casino is not existent so we left, which is probably good or we’d had lost several hundred more dollars. But- it’s $30 bucks a day so you can’t go wrong.
