Customer Reviews
Very nice quiet and safe campground. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the peacefulness of the forest. Beautiful affordable pavilion that you can rent for the day.
One of our favorite spots in FL. Very small Campground with private spots. We are a 35ft 5th wheel and loved site #4. We stayed here 8 nights. The campground was mostly quiet and restrooms were mostly clean. Only time I noticed restrooms being dirty or disrespected were when the pavilion was rented out to large groups. The first night there the group that rented the pavilion was playing loud thumping music which was fine except wish it ended earlier. Signs say the pavilion is supposed to close at dark but the loud thumping music continued until way after dark. All other nights were very nice and quiet. Nice trails and great areas to explore. This is also within good distance to Panama City.
It has some of my favorite trails to ride my Onewheel. Very little roots, well maintained trails, nice campgrounds, and beautiful nature. Be aware they often do controlled burns so be careful around any fires you may see because they don’t have the staff to patrol the whole burn.
Seclude place. Be sure to get your emailed gate code if you have a camping reservation before you get there, phone service is limited.
There is a gravel road to get to the campground and you will need the code to get past the gate, remember to add an * after the number you were given. The campground is quiet and spaces are a good size. The restrooms could use some attention but it is a nice area and a good price.
