Features / Highlights

Silver Fox RV Park distinguishes itself through its intimate size, welcoming community, and serene environment:

  • Small, Intimate Community: With only about 15-20 spots, the park offers a rare sense of intimacy. This smaller scale allows for a closer-knit community where residents are "good neighborly people" and "look after all of us here." This fosters a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
  • Larger Sites with Trees: The limited number of spots allows for "larger sites with most in the trees," providing more space and natural shade for each RV. This offers a more comfortable and private feel compared to tightly packed parks.
  • Kind and Friendly Resident Landlady: A standout highlight is the park's resident landlady, who is described as "so kind and friendly" and actively "looks after all of us here." This personal and caring management style significantly contributes to the positive resident experience.
  • Peaceful and Quiet Environment: Despite being on US-377, the park seems to offer a relatively peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for those seeking tranquility in their RV life.
  • Commitment to Cleanliness: The park's policy against messy sites is appreciated by residents, ensuring a consistently clean and well-maintained appearance throughout the property.
  • Proximity to Pilot Point Attractions: While a quiet retreat, the park offers easy access to Pilot Point's unique attractions, including its equestrian scene, historic downtown, and various dining options like Mac's BBQ (according to general area information, though not directly related to Silver Fox). It's also near Lake Ray Roberts for outdoor activities.

It is crucial to address the conflicting review regarding electrical capacity. One review states, "Not enough electricity going to the park. There is only 400 amps provided for 20 spots, that’s only 20 amps per spot. My ac never worked right." This suggests potential issues with power supply, especially during warmer months or peak usage. However, another long-term resident praises "good water" and "reasonable rates." Prospective guests, particularly those with high electrical demands (like multiple AC units in Texas heat), should contact the park directly to inquire about recent electrical upgrades or site-specific amperage capabilities to ensure their needs are met.

Promotions or Special Offers

While specific, ongoing promotions are not publicly detailed for Silver Fox RV Park, the reviews consistently highlight "reasonable rates." RV parks often offer varying price structures for daily, weekly, and monthly stays, with long-term rentals typically being more cost-effective. Given that many residents plan to stay for "a few years," it's highly likely that Silver Fox RV Park offers competitive monthly rates for extended commitments. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, availability, and any potential long-term discounts, it is strongly recommended to contact Silver Fox RV Park directly at (727) 692-9064. A direct conversation will allow you to discuss your specific needs and confirm the best rates for your desired stay in Pilot Point, Texas.

I’ve lived here over 4 months now and have enjoyed every minute. Reasonable rates, good water and good neighborly people. There are only 15 spots here which allows for larger sites with most in the trees. Our resident land lady is so kind and friendly and looks after all of us here. Messy sites are not allowed which I appreciate. I would truly recommend staying here. We plan on remaining here for a few years.

Not enough electricity going to the park. There is only 400 amps provided for 20 spots, that’s only 20 amps per spot. My ac never worked right. I moved and it works wonderfully now. I would t feel right not posting this. But if you want to be hot and have apliances go out this is the place. It’s Great place if your only staying when it’s cold outside however.

The owner of this park is very sweet. She has one of the hardest jobs in the world, and that is to make everyone happy. I have no complaints. Maintenance issues are addressed very quickly. Neighbors are nice. Park is very quiet.

Silver Fox RV park, It`s a nice quite park. Their are 15 sites ALL with water (good water) Electrics= 50 amp 30 amp and 110. Each site has a sewer hookup. Pets welcome their is a large area for Fido to explore. The entrance is well marked and the road in was just repaved (2019) so, no problems there. Lake Ray Roberts is right across the street and has a public boat launch. It feels like your in the Country yet Your around the corner for things... Gas, Large food store and dinning. Denton and Dallas are a short drive away. Their are large storage units for rent There is an on site manager and garbage done weekly. If your looking for a semi-permanent or permanent place, Silver Fox is hard to beat. Nice neighbors too. The part I liked is that your not parked right next to your neighbor. No sardine can parking here.....,Space, Got to like that
