Good place for sunset. Lot of place for different activities, well maintained state park near Dallas. Good place for camping ⛺️, children friendly, campsites with stable, clean shower area, lots of trails, roads are safe for road bikes rides
Campsite 51, 30 & 50 amp with 2 outlets Nice campground, paved pull through and backup. Plenty of space for parking and enjoyment! Deer not skiddish Beautiful lake Easy pull through with plenty of room Decent rates No sewer hookup on site *Wintertime, Dec 2022: bathroom was way too cold. A cold fan blowing without heat made it even colder. That made my already difficult 1st camping experience miserable as I couldn't shower for the 5 days I spent there. Otherwise my experience would have been very nice despite my camper problems I would up with.
Wonderful campsites to see deer and other wildlife. The deer walk right through the middle of the campgrounds.
Great Lake location with very clean facilities.
Wonderful clean campsite. Although you will need some leveling. Deer everywhere. Paved bike path...not easy but not difficult. Over the top beach area with multiple playgrounds and rubber ground cover. Excellent. Highly recommend.
