Stayed in Pine Tree Section 174 with full hook ups. You may want to bring one of those plastic accordion sewer line grade slope devices & 15’ of sewer pipe. The site is across from the playground but not a problem. The site is a pull through spot and level. We spent 12 days there and thoroughly enjoyed the location because it’s somewhat private with nice trees and very peaceful. Great spot.
May 21, 2025 · Tom DaMannExcellent facilities with complete hook ups. I’d take this campground over the state parks any day. Large area and very quiet, close to nearby towns if you are there for a visit. Well taken care of and patrolled by the conversation corps. Stay here and relax!
Apr 15, 2025 · Ron HamiltonJust a quick overnight while we are traveling! We stayed in 134 Dogw. The site was good but weird there was no water hook up when sites across and near this one had water hookups! A short walk from our site there were nice views of the River!
May 07, 2025 · Monica EskewWe had a week here, and it wasn’t long enough! Beautiful campground, friendly staff, large quiet spots, fire pits, picnic tables, and each section of the campground has their own playground. A bit of a walk to the beach, but it wasn’t too bad, and definitely worth it. Word of warning: The foot/bike path does NOT loop. You will walk and walk and walk some more before you just end up walking away. So, at some point, just turn around. You can be done.
May 26, 2023 · Euphony88Great campground that is well maintained with park hosts who are friendly, visible and efficient. Sites are large and level with picnic tables, fire rings, lantern posts and parking spaces. There are various types of amenities available from full hook ups to power only and tent camping so be sure to check if the particular site fits your needs. There is a wonderful bike/walking trail, nearby beach area. And visitors center all available to visiting guests. We will definitely return when in the area !!!!
