I've been living here for about 5 months and have no desire to move. The neighborhood is peaceful. The neighbors are kind. The space that tenants get is livible. I even have more cabinets than I need but am glad to have too much instead of not enough. The rent is also great. I'm saving 172 dollars for more space. This mobile home park is so peaceful that I almost don't want to leave. The lagoon smells sometimes but is beautiful to look at making another plus but that is personal preference.
Sep 28, 2024 · Cameron DavisIf I could give this place zero stars I would. My fiance and I called to inquire about a trailer opening up in the future for rent. He asked us if we have any animals and we told him we have ESA animals with proper legal documentation that we will provide. He then denied us which he cannot due by law as its discrimination and we are protected by the FHA. He was rude and acted like he higher than the law. We will be looking into taking legal action. This is an edit. I hope the owner sees this as we just filed a complaint with HUD.

Per Illinois law security deposit's should be returned within 30- 45 days. I wouldn't recommend considering the owner Mike will not refund your deposit regardless of how many times you call or email. If I ever receive the money I'm due I will change the rating. 8/11/2023. One year update still no deposit! Don't rent here unless you want to be robbed. 7/09/2024. Two year update still haven't received our deposit back. I will keep updating this yearly until I recieve my refund check or until everyone in Carbondale knows that Mike is a thief.

One day my dryer went out and about 3 hours later my AC unit went out. He fixed both units the very next day. A real good place to live at a lower cost.
May 24, 2019 · Frank OttoFor a mobile home park in a college town its ok. The homes are in pretty good shape and there are lots of lovely trees all over the property. The drive ways/roads are rougher than a cob, but it's not like your car is going to bottom out.
