This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of what makes Stussy RV Park a standout option for local RV enthusiasts, ensuring you have all the information you need to plan your visit.

Stussy RV Park isn't just a place to park your RV; it's a gateway to experiencing the unique charm of Mantorville. Whether you're a seasoned RV traveler or just starting to explore the joys of life on the road, understanding the nuances of an RV park before you arrive can significantly enhance your stay. From its strategic location to the thoughtful amenities it offers, Stussy RV Park caters to those seeking a relaxed and convenient camping experience without breaking the bank. We’ll delve into the specifics that make this park a suitable choice for a wide range of visitors, emphasizing its quiet atmosphere and proximity to local delights.

One of the primary considerations for any RV traveler is location and accessibility. Stussy RV Park is conveniently situated at 406 Blanch St, Mantorville, MN 55955, USA. Mantorville itself is a small, historic city in Dodge County, Minnesota, easily accessible from major roadways, making it a straightforward destination for those traveling from various parts of the state or even neighboring regions. The park's central location within Mantorville means that once you've arrived, many of the town's attractions are just a short stroll away. This excellent walkability is a significant advantage, allowing you to explore the local area without needing to unhook your RV every time you wish to venture out. For those coming from the Twin Cities, it’s a manageable drive south, offering a perfect escape from the urban hustle. The ease of navigation to and from the park ensures a smooth start and end to your RV journey.

While Stussy RV Park focuses on providing a straightforward and comfortable stay, it does offer essential services that contribute to a pleasant experience. Understanding these services upfront can help you prepare for your visit and ensure all your needs are met.

  • Full Hookups: Each campsite at Stussy RV Park is equipped with full hookups, which typically include water, electricity, and sewer connections. This is a significant convenience, especially for longer stays, as it allows you to maintain the comforts of your RV without needing to rely on external facilities for these basic needs. The availability of full hookups is a highly valued amenity for many RVers, ensuring a hassle-free experience with running water and power directly at your site. It’s worth noting, as some past visitors have mentioned, that it's advisable to have an extension for power and water, as hookups may not always be in the most convenient immediate proximity to your RV's connection point.
  • Individual Campsites: Each site comes with a picnic table and a fire pit, encouraging outdoor living and the classic camping experience. These small touches allow for enjoyable meals outdoors and cozy evenings around a campfire, perfect for creating lasting memories with family and friends.
  • Porta Potty: While the park does not offer full-service restrooms or showers, there is a porta potty available on site for basic needs. This is an important detail for visitors to note, especially if they are accustomed to full bathhouse facilities at larger RV resorts.

Beyond the fundamental services, Stussy RV Park boasts several features and highlights that enhance its appeal, particularly for those who appreciate a quiet environment and access to local charm.

  • Quiet Atmosphere: Many visitors consistently praise the park for its peaceful and quiet environment. This makes it an ideal spot for those looking to unwind, escape the noise of city life, and enjoy a tranquil camping experience. The absence of excessive amenities often contributes to this serene atmosphere, as it tends to attract campers seeking a simpler, more relaxed stay.
  • Proximity to Zumbro River: For fishing enthusiasts, the presence of a small river nearby is a significant draw. The Zumbro River offers opportunities for a relaxing day of fishing, adding another layer of recreational activity to your stay.
  • Adjacent Park: Directly across the street from Stussy RV Park, you’ll find a public park. This provides a great open space for children to play, for taking leisurely walks, or simply enjoying the outdoors within easy reach of your campsite.
  • Historic Mantorville Exploration: Stussy RV Park serves as an excellent base for exploring the historic town of Mantorville. The town boasts a rich history with numerous historic buildings and nice walking paths that invite exploration. You can take a self-guided tour through the charming streets, admiring the well-preserved architecture and soaking in the small-town ambiance.
  • Nearby Dining and Shops: Within just a block of the RV park, you'll find a delightful array of local establishments. This includes the County Seat restaurant, perfect for breakfast and lunch; the historic Hubbell House, a renowned older steakhouse offering a fine dining experience; a delightful Chocolate & Ice Cream shop for those with a sweet tooth; the Mantorville Saloon for a local watering hole experience; Casey’s for convenience needs; and an antique shop for unique finds. This proximity to local businesses means you don't have to venture far for meals, treats, or a bit of local shopping.
  • Reasonable Pricing: A recurring highlight mentioned by visitors is the very reasonable pricing for full hookups. At approximately $30, it offers excellent value for money, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

While specific, ongoing promotions can vary, Stussy RV Park is known for its consistent and very reasonable pricing, which acts as an ongoing special offer in itself. At a price point of around $30 for full hookups, it stands out as one of the most affordable options in the region for the value it provides. This pricing strategy effectively serves as a continuous promotion, making a comfortable RV stay accessible to a wider range of travelers. It’s always a good idea to contact the park directly for the most current rates or any seasonal discounts they might be offering. We have stayed here twice when visiting relatives. It’s pretty quiet and very reasonably priced for full hookups ($30). There is a small river if you like to fish, a park across the street, some historic buildings and nice walking paths. There is a small restaurant (County Seat) that serves breakfast/lunch, Hubbell House (a nice, older steakhouse), Chocolate & Ice Cream shop, Mantorville Saloon, Casey’s, and antique shop all a block away. Each campsite has a picnic table & fire pit. There are no amenities (except for a porta potty).

Nice location rv park is smaller. No shower amenities or restrooms. Prices are very reasonable all in all not that bad of a place to stay. Make sure you have an extension for power and water hook ups are not very conveniently located.
