Services Offered

Sundance Lakes RV Resort strives to provide a range of services aimed at making guests' and residents' stays comfortable and enjoyable, focusing on essential amenities for RV living.

  • RV Lot Rentals: The primary service offered is the provision of "large RV lots" for rent. These sites are designed to accommodate various RV sizes, offering ample space for parking and setting up. While not explicitly detailed in the provided information, a standard RV resort typically offers full hookups, including water, electricity (30/50 amp), and sewer connections at each site. This caters to both short-term vacationers and those seeking longer-term seasonal or annual residency.

  • Heated Swimming Pool: A notable and highly appreciated service is a "swimming pool was heated and very well taken care of." This amenity allows guests to enjoy a comfortable swim year-round, which is a significant draw in Florida. A well-maintained pool provides a central area for relaxation, exercise, and social interaction within the community.

  • On-Site Ponds/Lakes: The park features "3 large ponds" which contribute to the "beautiful settings." While not a direct service, these natural water features enhance the aesthetic appeal of the resort and may offer opportunities for passive recreation like fishing (where permitted) or simply enjoying the scenic views.

  • Office Staff Assistance: The presence of "office staff especially Pam and Mark were welcoming and very professional" indicates a commitment to guest services. This includes handling bookings, payments, inquiries, and addressing immediate needs, aiming to ensure a smooth administrative experience for all visitors.

It is important for prospective guests to note that, as the park has undergone "major hurricane damage," some services, such as the "laundry room and club houses," have been temporarily shut down for repairs. The park is actively working on removing damaged areas and restoring these facilities. Guests are advised to inquire about the current operational status of all amenities before booking to ensure their needs can be met.

This ongoing recovery showcases resilience and a dedication to bringing the park back to full functionality.

Promotions or Special Offers

As an RV resort, Sundance Lakes RV Resort, like many establishments in Florida, may offer various promotions or special rates to attract and retain guests, especially during different seasons or as part of its ongoing hurricane recovery efforts. While no specific promotions were detailed in the provided customer reviews, common offers in the RV park industry often include:

  • Seasonal Rates: RV parks in Florida frequently offer discounted rates for extended stays, such as monthly, multi-month, or full winter season packages, which are typically more economical than daily or weekly rates. • Long-Term Stay Discounts: For guests planning to reside at Sundance Lakes RV Resort for several months or even year-round, there might be specialized pricing structures designed to provide cost savings for their commitment.

  • Off-Season Specials: During Florida's less busy summer and fall months, parks might introduce lower rates or special deals to attract guests and maintain occupancy when the snowbird population is lower.

  • Loyalty Programs or Return Guest Incentives: While not explicitly mentioned, some RV resorts offer loyalty programs or special pricing for returning guests, encouraging repeat visits. The review stating "We will be back" suggests the park cultivates loyal customers.

  • Recovery-Related Offers (Potential): In the context of "major hurricane damage" and ongoing recovery, the park might introduce special rates or flexibility to acknowledge any temporary inconveniences (like closed laundry rooms or clubhouses) or to encourage new bookings during the restoration phase. We arrived at Sundance RV on March 19th, for a 2 week stay. Park had suffered major hurricane damage but the park was doing it's best to remove the damaged places. We got there and paid, then found out the laundry room and club houses were shut down. We had to use a laundry mat. Not a horrible inconvenience, just would have been nice to know prior to booking. Rv lots are large, beautiful settings with 3 large ponds, swimming pool was heated and very well taken care of. Our favorite were the people, amazing and so welcoming. The office staff especially Pam and Mark were welcoming and very professional. Seems to be a lot of tension between the staff but didn't deter our stay. We will be back. Thanks for the great 2 weeks.

Stay somewhere else! During my stay, Mark, the park manager, invaded our privacy and attempted to terminate our lease prematurely, disregarding park rules that stipulated we had more than 6 months before our lease would end. Mark and several male staff members displayed unprofessional behavior towards me, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The park's maintenance was subpar, with the dog park, a frequently used amenity, being mowed about every two weeks and mushrooms poisonous to dogs growing. Their careless lawn mowing and weed whacking resulted in damage to our property, including holes in our hoses, causing fecal matter to spray when emptying the black tank. The unprofessionalism was exacerbated during the hurricane, with Mark displaying a lack of communication, then ultimately ceasing all communication and going on a cruise displaying no concern for the park nor its guests. Guests were still required to pay rent despite being without power for months. The park's infrastructure is also a concern, with electrical issues and frequent water issues, including unannounced water shut-offs. If you would love to stay with an unprofessional and childish park manager that belittles his guests and throws hissy fits like a teenage boy, this is the place for you!

Came to this RV park in April. Hooked up our camper electricity to the pole. It was in the 90's. Our air kept going on & off. It eventually burned out our A/C compressor due to lack of voltage! Called out a repair man...suggested we move our camper to another site/grid to try out our NEW air conditioner, because the section we were in..wouldn't supply enough voltage for our NEW AC unit to work! And yep...we moved our camper to another site, and our AC worked with zero issues! The wires underground, at the old site, was probably oxidized from the flood they had there!!! Management was TERRIBLE to work with!! VERY RUDE!!! They did not want to accept ANY blame on their park!!!! Sooo...a couple thousand dollars later ( new A/C...And 3 nights in a hotel) due to the weather being in the 90's & no air in our unit....I'M WARNING YOU NOW!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RV PARK & The VERY RUDE MANAGEMENT!!!!!

I just know when they had no electric after the storm and electric co. came to turn it on there were updates that had to before they could get turned back on. They went a few months without electricity and were charged for rent anyway. They are trying to rebuild and have to wait on the RV park to upgrade the electric and cant really live there because the owners didn't do upgrades and couldn't get electric turned on for a few months, these people could live there and still got charged for rent. Unbelievable!
