Customer Reviews
We are in the process of moving to the area after school’s out. My husband has been staying here for a month. It is such a beautiful quiet area along a creek with shade and superb wifi. I work from home and had excellent wifi all week I was there. When we arrived Ted graciously met us and helped us set up (new camper). He is such a kind and welcoming host.
My review got cut short. I gave 3 stars because sites are to close together. It's very rocky . I understand they are a new campgrounds and will make adjustments. The land around is beautiful to hike. I could see alot of potential here. Not sure how much campgrounds land but creeks are great. I've been camping fulltime for past 9 yrs.
We had an awesome stay . Beautiful walking trail loop to the back of the property. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Come here from Florida and Love this place, we have been here four months and absolutely love it quiet, peaceful, clean. Sit outside and listen to the Beautiful creek and birds can take my dog for a walk anywhere. Ted and Tracy always around to help with anything. My spot is perfect i’m at a campground and expect to see people in front of me and behind me. Thank you both for everything we will be here a while ❤️
We had to change our camping plans due to hurricane damage at Elijah State Park for a mining trip at Graves Mountain. It was a nice campground with all amenities. It would be nice to have a bath house, laundry on site for the price you pay to stay. Sites are very small, and it is not good when you walk outside that your neighbors sewer hookup is right in front of you. No lighting at the entrance which is not wide enough for big rigs. You couldn't have a campfire because of the close proximately to the next camper. The neighbors dog barked non stop. There was no one on site to ask them to put the dog inside or to enforce rules. All site are only 50 amp. It sad when in the mining community that this campground is known for their high prices.
