Promotions or Special Offers

As a developing RV park that appears to cater primarily to long-term stays, Tharp's Camp Cedar's "promotions" are likely centered around its value proposition for extended living rather than short-term discounts.

Here are the key "offers" that make Tharp's Camp Cedar appealing:

  • Competitive Monthly Rates: While specific figures can fluctuate, the park states prices "start at $350 monthly." This is a highly competitive rate for oversized, waterfront RV lots, especially considering the included water and sewer hookups, and access to unique features like the boat launch and pier. This affordability for long-term stays is a major draw for snowbirds, full-time RVers, or those working in the area.

  • Value of Oversized Waterfront Lots: The large, waterfront lots are a premium feature that often comes at a much higher cost in other parks. Getting this level of space and direct lake access at their listed starting price represents significant value.

  • Included Amenities for Long-Term Living: The provision of a private mailbox with a separate address and allowance for small storage sheds adds immense value for long-term residents, facilitating a more settled lifestyle that many other RV parks do not offer.

  • Access to Deerpoint Lake and Fishing: The complimentary use of the marina, boat storage, and the longest pier on Deerpoint Lake (a top bass fishing lake) are substantial benefits for fishing and boating enthusiasts, effectively bundling valuable recreational access into the stay.

  • Developing Improvements: The mention of a "new look developing" and "plenty more to come" suggests that residents benefit from an evolving property that is being continuously invested in, potentially adding more value over time without immediate increases in cost.

I paid there fee as we arrived...... After setting up tents and cooking food... A misunderstanding from years prior in which the management was highly intoxicated and asked us to leave for no apparent reason.... I did get my money back but extremely unprofessional management was!!!! Especially after midnight when this took place. Would not recommend this camp grounds to anyone!!!!

Let me tell you. 4th of July week/weekend 2017 was amazing. After calling hotels and everything being sold out...we decided to go camping. Only place left with a camp spot was Tharps and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They had extra tents they offered us. They put up a pool for our kids. The hospitality was AMAZING! they took us car or watching of the dock. The assistant manager there would get up and make my kids breakfast (pancakes) and listen to my kids tall tales. The owner offered to watch the kids while my husband and I went on their jacks they were gonna let us borrow! This was an experience my family will not soon forget and hopefully soon relive when we go back!
