Twin Oaks Manufactured Home Community About
For many Kansans, especially those in and around the bustling city of Wichita, finding suitable and affordable housing can be a significant challenge. Manufactured home communities, often known as mobile home parks, present a unique and increasingly popular alternative to traditional housing options. These communities offer a distinctive blend of independent living, often with a sense of community, and typically at a more accessible price point. This article aims to provide a comprehensive and factual overview of Twin Oaks Manufactured Home Community in Wichita, Kansas, offering insights for local users considering this residential option.
Manufactured home living has evolved significantly over the decades. Modern manufactured homes are built to federal safety and quality standards, offering comfortable and contemporary living spaces. The communities themselves often feature a range of amenities and a structured environment designed to enhance residents' quality of life. One of the primary benefits of choosing a manufactured home community is often the financial advantage. The cost of purchasing a manufactured home, or renting a lot, is typically lower than that of traditional site-built homes or even many apartments in urban areas. This affordability makes homeownership, or a more spacious rental option, a reality for a broader demographic.
Beyond the financial considerations, manufactured home communities frequently foster a unique social dynamic. Residents often have their own individual lots, providing more privacy and outdoor space than apartment living. This can be ideal for those who enjoy gardening, having a private patio, or simply more room for relaxation. Many communities also organize social events and provide shared amenities, encouraging interaction and building a strong sense of neighborhood. For individuals, families, and retirees, this blend of independence and community can be particularly appealing.
Twin Oaks Manufactured Home Community, located in Wichita, Kansas, is one such option. Like any residential community, it has its unique characteristics and experiences, as reflected in feedback from current and past residents. Customer Reviews
Trish and Sarah are the best management this park has had in over a decade. Their ability to find and execute solutions to the huge magnitude of issues brought to their attention is astonishing and very much appreciated! They are very down to earth, respectful and genuine ladies.
They won’t allow you to build a fence. I was also told that I couldn’t build a shed either. These managers are so nit picky. They want the lawn perfectly kept up but anywhere you try to store lawn equipment outside gets a harassment note on the door and non compliance results in a minimum $50 charge added to your rent and thats $50 per hour. Then they’ll send their maintenance over to do piss poor work and if you complain about the job they did… well tough luck. But if you do the same quality of work guess what, another $50. They find an excuse to raise the rent every year but can’t provide basic lawn care. They let their grass get long and just an hour after they mow their side they start passing out their harassment letters. But hey at least we got a pool thats closed most of the summer because one kid breaks a rule and the whole trailer park doesn’t get to swim. And not mention they put an eviction notice on your door if you haven’t paid rent the same week it’s due. Don’t live here if you don’t have to.
Trish is amazing and the best manager we have had. She listens to concerns and always does her best to fix it. She goes above and beyond for the residents. Love living here
Sarah C. Was wonderful to us! We were in a bad situation and she helped us out of it by getting us into a nice home. We only paid 11,000 for it and she helped us get approved with not the best credit! She always promptly answered my and my husband Jeremy bates emails and calls even on the days we called multiple times. She never got aggravated and even signed our papers earlier than most places would to help us get in here! This was the easiest move in process we have ever been through and we have now been in our home almost a week! That’s pretty impressive seeing as it was less than a month ago when we applied! She is awesome! She not only answered my questions but did so meticulously so I understood how things worked and why they were that way! We moved in right after signing the papers and she came over here with us and checked to make sure everything was okay before she left! She even followed up after we moved in to make sure everything was going good! I cannot stress enough what a gem you guys have working there! Thank you Sarah! For everything! Because of you our daughter has a Xmas tree she got to decorate and presents under it to open Christmas morning in her home!!! We are so grateful for you! Thank you so much. Really. B028
