I cannot speak to the campgrounds, but my friends and i went on a Saturday in the summer and had the beach to ourselves! Very little foot traffic, and the water was perfect for playing and swimming. And the drive there from Tulsa is very pretty. Totally worth it!
Oct 28, 2018 · Cynthia KnightLove the park, close to home, very few people during the week. People drive to fast and speed limit is clearly posted 15mph. Everyone is here to have a good time and relax so slow down. The gate lady does a great job and has always been very nice.
Jun 07, 2020 · Steve SelvidgeClean, well maintained. Much quieter than Tall Chief Cove, especially during the week. Very nice playground for the kids with nice new equipment. Hard to swim on the shoreline by most sites (giant boulders on shoreline), but there is a beach.
Jul 14, 2016 · Lauren OertlingMy mother and I drove for 40 minutes, with her dogs, to this RV park just to make sure my parents' rig would fit, as it is 40 ft long. We found a spot that looked big enough but wanted to get out, let the dogs pee, and look around before making a final decision. The woman at the front gate FOLLOWED us in her car, then called us over to her after we got the pups out. When we asked what was wrong, she said, "well, you just wanted to drive through, right?" We said, "yes" then asked if we could just let the dogs pee. She said "when you ask to look, you need to stay in your vehicle normally." This woman is obviously just a rude and hateful soul, and absolutely RUINED any desire that my damn near 60 year old parents had of visiting this park. This woman and her attitude was completely uncalled for.
May 17, 2018 · Autumn DohneIf you want to enjoy a family fun day this isn't the place. We could not get out of our vehicle, drive thru only was what it was called. The park was just for overnight only. In all the years I have been to any recreation area, a family could still spend the day enjoying what the park had to offer. The only reason I gave them one star, so I could post.
