The name itself, "Simple Site RV," gives a clear indication of its operational philosophy: providing straightforward, clean, and functional sites for RVers. Simple Site RV is conveniently located at 55 Fishburn Mountain Rd, Rocky Mount, VA 24151, USA. This address places it squarely within Rocky Mount, the county seat of Franklin County, Virginia. Rocky Mount is known for its charming small-town atmosphere, rich agricultural heritage, and its position in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
A significant highlight of Simple Site RV’s location is its immediate proximity to US-220. This major highway serves as a vital north-south artery through Western Virginia, connecting travelers to Roanoke to the north and Martinsville to the south, and further into North Carolina. The campground is described as being "right off US 220," with "easy on and off" access. This balance of easy accessibility and relative quietude is highly desirable for campers. Furthermore, its location in Rocky Mount means visitors have convenient access to local amenities, including grocery stores, dining options, gas stations, and other essential services within a short drive. This is a major convenience for RVers, especially those with larger rigs or towing vehicles, as it eliminates the need for difficult backing maneuvers upon arrival or departure, making set-up and breakdown much quicker and easier.

This is a highly valued amenity for RVers, offering a comfortable alternative or supplement to onboard facilities, especially for those in smaller RVs or tent campers if allowed.

Nov 06, 2024 · Aaron HowardVery nice place for a quick night or two. Very clean. Showers and laundry room are nice. All sites are pull thru and very level. Jun 02, 2025 · Lexington BallworxxxI will forever remember this place over anywhere I’ve ever been to! When travel plans change unexpectedly and it’s a holiday weekend with every campground full and no openings anywhere these guys (without knowing the situation at hand) offered their overflow site to make sure we had a place to be with our 3 dogs! The owners are super sweet and friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed! The communication was great and facilities super clean! If you are ever in the area or just passing through be sure to see if they have an opening for at least a night! The night sky here is breath taking!! Thank you Simple RV Site for all that you do and restoring faith and humanity one camper family at a time! You guys are amazing!!
May 26, 2024 · Amanda HardingNice clean spot that is easy to access. The laundry room and bathrooms are super clean, it's a no frills location that lives up to the name. There is a lot of truck traffic on the highway but it slows way down at night which is nice. We enjoyed being able to relax and get some laundry done on our way through the area.
