This park provides a location that puts residents within easy reach of the many amenities and attractions that make living in St. Petersburg so appealing.
Vagabond Mobile Home Park aims to offer a living solution that balances affordability with a desirable location. It presents an opportunity for homeownership in a region where traditional housing costs can be quite high. The park’s position allows for convenient access to everyday necessities and recreational activities, which is a significant draw for those looking to maximize their time enjoying the Florida lifestyle.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to consider a comprehensive view of the community, as feedback from current and past residents offers varied perspectives. While some residents describe it as a "Great neighborhood and a nice family park," indicating a positive living experience, others have raised significant concerns. One detailed review highlighted issues such as "problematic, prejudiced" management, concerns about "children run wild with no parents to be seen," and "certain neighbors are rude to its minority members." This same review also mentioned "the rent is increasing but no improvements to the park are being made to warrant the need to raise rent," and described amenities like the laundromat being "always in a dissaray, and the clubhouse is lacking," along with a lack of overnight visitor parking. These points of feedback are important for any potential resident to carefully evaluate, as management and community atmosphere can significantly impact one's living experience.
For Floridians considering a mobile home, Vagabond Mobile Home Park offers the potential for convenient living within St. Petersburg. Its all-age designation makes it suitable for diverse households. When evaluating this park, it is highly recommended to engage directly with current residents where possible, and to thoroughly discuss all concerns and expectations with park management, ensuring clarity on policies, services, and the current state of amenities. This address places it in a highly accessible area within Pinellas Park, offering residents immediate access to a wide array of urban amenities and recreational opportunities. For Florida locals, particularly those familiar with the Pinellas County landscape, this location is a significant advantage due to its strategic position.
The park's proximity to major commercial hubs is a key benefit. It is situated very close to extensive shopping centers, including those around the Tyrone Square Mall area, providing residents with easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, various retail outlets, and a diverse range of dining options, from casual eateries to more formal restaurants. This minimizes travel time for daily errands and maximizes leisure time.

Services Offered
Vagabond Mobile Home Park aims to provide fundamental services to its residents, typical of an all-age mobile home community. However, based on resident feedback, there are reported inconsistencies in the delivery and quality of some of these services. It is essential for prospective residents to verify all current services and their actual condition directly with park management.
Features / Highlights
Vagabond Mobile Home Park, while receiving mixed reviews on management and some amenities, does possess several features that, for some residents, contribute to its appeal as an all-age mobile home community in St. Petersburg.
Promotions or Special Offers
Based on the provided public information and resident reviews, there are no explicitly advertised "promotions" or "special offers" from Vagabond Mobile Home Park in the traditional sense, such as discounted lot rent for a limited time or move-in bonuses. The focus of the available information and resident commentary leans more towards the ongoing cost of lot rent and overall value perception.
Residents have noted concerns about lot rent increases without corresponding park improvements. While mobile home parks generally offer a more affordable housing option compared to traditional homes, the perception of value is subjective and influenced by the services and amenities provided relative to the rent charged. One review mentioned "the rent is increasing," indicating that any perceived "affordability" should be verified against current rates.
Prospective residents interested in Vagabond Mobile Home Park should directly contact the management to obtain the most current and comprehensive information on lot rent rates, any associated fees, and what services are explicitly included. It is crucial to have a clear understanding of all financial obligations before making any commitments. Since homes are typically individually owned, any "promotion" or "deal" related to purchasing a mobile home would likely come from the private seller or a real estate agent, rather than directly from the park management itself.
Contact Information
For those interested in learning more about Vagabond Mobile Home Park, inquiring about lot availability, or discussing specific concerns, direct contact with the park management is essential. Due to varied resident feedback, it is particularly important to engage thoroughly to gather comprehensive information.
It is highly recommended to call during standard business hours. When contacting Vagabond Mobile Home Park, be prepared to ask specific and detailed questions about current lot rent, what utilities and services are included in the rent, the actual condition and availability of amenities such as the laundromat and clubhouse, and the park's policies regarding children and visitors (especially overnight parking). Given the mixed reviews regarding management, it would be beneficial to assess their responsiveness and willingness to address concerns during your inquiry. If possible, consider visiting the park during different times of the day to observe the environment firsthand. This direct engagement will provide the most current and accurate information to help you determine if Vagabond Mobile Home Park is suitable for your living needs.
Conclusion: Why This Place Is Suitable for Locals
For Florida locals, Vagabond Mobile Home Park in St. Petersburg presents a housing option that primarily stands out due to its accessible location and its nature as an all-age community. For individuals or families prioritizing these two aspects in their search for a home, Vagabond might be a consideration, provided they conduct thorough due diligence regarding other aspects of park living.
The most compelling reason for locals to consider Vagabond Mobile Home Park is its strategic location within St. Petersburg. Being on 46th Avenue North, it offers incredibly convenient access to a multitude of local amenities. This means residents are just minutes away from major shopping centers, diverse dining options, and essential medical facilities, simplifying daily life and reducing commute times. Furthermore, its proximity to the Pinellas Trail offers readily available outdoor recreation, and the famous Gulf Coast beaches are within a reasonable drive, allowing residents to enjoy the quintessential Florida lifestyle with ease. For those deeply rooted in the St. Petersburg area and wanting to maintain their local connections and access to amenities, this location is a significant advantage.
Secondly, as an all-age community, Vagabond Mobile Home Park is suitable for a broader demographic of Floridians, including families with children or younger individuals who may find age-restricted communities unsuitable. This inclusivity can foster a diverse neighborhood environment, which some residents may prefer.
However, it is crucial for locals to approach Vagabond Mobile Home Park with a clear understanding of the mixed feedback from current residents. While some find it a "nice family park" and a "great neighborhood," concerns regarding management, the condition of amenities, and rent increases are significant. Therefore, its suitability for locals largely depends on individual priorities and willingness to thoroughly investigate these reported issues. For those who prioritize location and an all-age environment, and are prepared to engage directly with park management to clarify all policies and conditions, Vagabond Mobile Home Park could potentially offer an affordable pathway to living in a desirable part of St. Petersburg. Ultimately, it requires a careful and informed decision, weighing the benefits of location and family-friendly potential against the reported challenges.

The management are problematic, prejudiced, and look for ways to take advantage of the folks in the park who are unaware of their rights. While I have not been subjected to this, many others in the park have been and it's atrocious its been this way for this long. As for everything else, it's one of the worst parks I've encountered. Children run wild with no parents to be seen, certain neighbors are rude to its minority members, and I've been told the rent is increasing but no improvements to the park are being made to warrant the need to raise rent. As another commenter said, there isnt even overnight visitor parking, the laundromat is always in a dissaray, and the clubhouse is lacking. This park has great opportunity, if only by being kinder as a whole at the very least, but oh well. For my fellow 55+ folks, look elsewhere as I have for although the rent is somewhat higher, the people and management are really what make or break your neighborhood. Good luck and best wishes.

Feb 26, 2025 · K BHad to give a star coz it forced at least 1 star to review. Trashy place. Deceitful manager that adds late fees to stapled together trailers that I'm Certain are illegal to even RENT out. My son lived there and I hope HOUSING code shuts them down. ICE needs to check out the place too. They claim that they don't rent dumps they sell them instead... So the trailer they sold my son for $100 they never even gave a title or ownership paper for it. When he had a hard time during a job change all they did was add unreasonable rates that she could change at will and claimed it was the real owners of the park doing it but she could change it anytime she wants and then she changed and took off a late fee then added it back when it was time for him to pay. His eviction is a blessing. People unless you're really trashy or desperate, avoid that place like the plague it is.
Dec 23, 2018 · MadMavenIt is an older MHP populated by converted travel trailers with a number of decades to their credit. Some look like vehicles that should be orbiting the earth. Others are painted with colors usually reserved for a florescent box of Crayola crayons. As you fo deeper into the park the travel trailer conversions lessen and more traditional mobile homes populate the remainder of the park property. Just as the homes vary greatly so do the inhabitants who are of numerous nationalities. It's full of good neighbors some of whom have experienced difficulties and hardships. I lost my youngest son on May 24th, 2021. He died of massive organ failure. When I found him he was unconscious and clammy but still warm. I preformed CPR until the fire men arrived to take over life saving efforts for Joshua. At 5:18 am one of the firemen approached me and didn't have to say a word. I saw the despair coming. His countenance made it clear that the unbelievable had just occured. Denial, confusion, anxiety, dumb founded and 😠 angry. For A moment I felt hatred for the bearer of the worst thing I've ever heard. "Mr. Nicholls, I regret that I must inform you that your son passed away at 518. It still echos in my head as if I'd entered a spacial warp. I soon found 3 neighbors who had lost an adult child to similar circumstances of the loss of my Joshua. 2 of them had lost 2 sons. The other had lost her son just a few months prior to Joshua's departure. Those parents surrounded me and were available to just listen. Good compassionate people extended themselves to me in the wake of this tragic expeience. 😥 I suspose an accurate discrption of Vagabond Mobile Home Park in a one word summary is what I call HOME.
