For many Georgians, particularly in communities like Carrollton, the search for a suitable and affordable place to live often leads to exploring various housing options. Among these, mobile home parks – also widely known as manufactured home communities or sometimes even RV parks, depending on their specific offerings – play a significant role. These communities can provide a different approach to homeownership or rental living, frequently presenting a more budget-friendly alternative to traditional single-family homes or apartments. The appeal often lies in the potential for lower living costs, and in some cases, a unique communal environment.

For locals in Georgia, especially those in the Carrollton area exploring different housing avenues, Village Pines MHP offers a specific type of living arrangement common within the mobile home park sector. The fundamental appeal of mobile home living often centers on its potential for greater affordability compared to conventional housing options, a significant factor for many Georgians. However, the provided customer reviews introduce several critical considerations that any prospective resident must carefully weigh. The recurring themes of issues with children playing outdoors, a persistent problem with ants, and instances of highly aggressive or disrespectful management interactions are significant. For families with children, the reported complaints about kids playing could create a challenging living environment. Similarly, pest issues can greatly impact comfort and quality of life. The strong negative feedback regarding management's communication style and quick eviction notices suggests a need for extreme caution and thorough understanding of all rules and tenancy agreements prior to moving in.
Therefore, while Village Pines MHP exists as a housing option in Carrollton, its suitability for locals will largely depend on individual tolerance for these reported challenges and a willingness to engage in detailed discussions with management to clarify expectations and rules. For those who prioritize a highly structured and quiet environment, or individuals without children who are prepared to manage pest control proactively and navigate potentially challenging interpersonal dynamics, it might be a consideration. However, any local Georgian contemplating this park should undertake extensive personal investigation, including visiting the site, attempting to speak with current residents, and ensuring every aspect of the lease agreement and park rules is fully understood and acceptable. Transparency and personal verification are paramount to determine if Village Pines MHP aligns with one's expectations for a comfortable and stable living situation in Georgia.

Owners hate children. Always complaining if mine were out playing. They could be out there literally 15 mins and there would be a complaint. I wouldn’t say this was the nicest lot in the first place. But the owners are just rude. We weren’t even here for a week and they want to kick us out! After paying for a month and setting up our internet. We have been in so many Rv parks in the last 12 years and this is a first for us. They wouldn’t tell us a good reason on why they didn’t want us there. Probably because we didn’t actually break any rules except she just didn’t want the kids. Also, get ready for your Rv to be FILLED with little black ants! They are EVERYWHERE! Would give this place 0 stars if I could. But 10/10 would NOT recommend!
Aug 15, 2024 · Amanda LongThey have a serious problem with ants. You can't leave anything on the stove of the rv because it will be full of ants in a matter of minutes. We had a bbq on a saturday night until 9:30 pm and a relative of the owners who lives in the house in front made a tremendous scandal because he wants to sleep (at 9:30). The owners came and told us we have to leave the same night (like right now). She pointed her fingers at us more than once and she referred to us aggressively and without respect. They complaint that my dog was barking. And they called a friend, instead of calling me to give them the complaint about the situation. The owner ( the lady not the husband) is very disrespectful and the relative too and for me they are racist. I understand that they have their rules, but having a bbq on a saturday night (from 7 to 9:30) its not a big deal. Anyway there are several ways to say things, not like archaic savages. So if you are looking for a place just to pay and sleep its ok but if you like to enjoy the weather with some friends and a good bbq after work hard this place is not for you.
Oct 09, 2022 · M RThese are some of the finest people you will ever meet. The park is older and the plans are to convert to more Rv’s and less mobile homes but as of now the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” is definitely the case here. You will have your occasional rowdy neighbors but that is anywhere you go. If you call them with any issue they will promptly deal with it. This park is out in country here but only a short drive to town and about 5 miles to Plant Wansley.
Apr 10, 2019 · TammyThe only place we will stay when working in the area. Amazing people! Very safe, very quiet, and super convenient to town (and area work).
