This location offers a peaceful, rural setting that appeals to those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of larger cities.

For travelers, particularly those utilizing Interstate 85, Overnight RV Park offers good accessibility. While not directly off a major interstate exit, Franklin is a manageable detour from I-85, which runs directly through Georgia, connecting Atlanta to Montgomery, Alabama. This makes the RV park a practical stop for those traveling east-west across the state or heading south towards Alabama. The local roads leading to the park are generally well-maintained, allowing for easy navigation for RVs of various sizes.

The address, 100 W Ferry Rd, suggests a location that is likely on a main thoroughfare within Franklin, providing easy access to local amenities such as gas stations, grocery stores, and dining options in the town. While Franklin itself is a smaller community, it offers enough basic services to cater to the needs of RVers.

Furthermore, the park's location in Heard County means it's situated in an area with natural beauty and historical significance. While the park itself is noted for its quiet and convenient nature rather than extensive on-site recreational facilities, its proximity allows guests to explore local parks, historical sites, and enjoy the tranquil Georgia countryside. For those with business or family in Franklin or the surrounding Heard County area, the park offers a highly convenient and accessible base.

The fact that it is "one of the last places" a reviewer tried when looking for a pull-through site suggests it might not be the largest park, but its availability and convenience make it a valuable option, especially when other places are full. Its local setting contributes to a sense of peace and a more personal camping experience.

This peaceful environment is perfect for both overnight stays and longer durations.
  • Clean and Well-Maintained Grounds: Despite appearing to have many long-term residents, the park is noted for being "neat and clean." This indicates that the management takes pride in the appearance and upkeep of the property, providing a pleasant and respectable environment for all guests.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the available public information and customer reviews for Overnight RV Park in Franklin, GA, there are no specific, advertised promotions or special offers in the typical sense (e.g., holiday discounts, "stay X nights, get Y free"). This is common for smaller, independently operated RV parks that focus on straightforward, competitive pricing and personalized service rather than large-scale marketing campaigns.

However, based on the customer review mentioning "mostly long term residents," it is highly probable that Overnight RV Park offers:

  • Reduced Rates for Extended Stays: Most RV parks that cater to long-term residents will have tiered pricing structures. This means that weekly and especially monthly rates are significantly lower per night compared to daily rates. This provides a substantial "special offer" for those looking to stay for more than just a night or two. This is a common practice to encourage longer commitments and provide value for extended periods.
  • Consistent, Competitive Pricing: Without specific promotions, the park likely maintains a consistent and transparent pricing structure that is competitive for its location and the services offered. The reviewer mentioned being "very reasonably priced" for a last-minute booking, suggesting good value.

Since specific public promotions are not detailed, the best way for prospective campers to inquire about any current offers, special rates for extended stays, or loyalty programs is to contact Overnight RV Park directly. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing and any potential deals available at the time of inquiry. The friendly and responsive nature of the staff, as highlighted in the reviews, suggests they would be happy to discuss options with callers.

Perhaps the most compelling reason for local suitability is the demonstrated level of customer service. The positive experiences with "Clint" highlight a responsive, helpful, and friendly management approach. Knowing that immediate assistance is available for essential hookups or other needs provides immense peace of mind. This personal touch is often found in smaller, privately run parks and fosters a loyal local clientele.

This indicates a community-oriented environment where individuals can settle in comfortably for extended periods, perhaps for work in the area or simply enjoying a slower pace of life.

In essence, Overnight RV Park provides exactly what its name suggests and more: a reliable, clean, and quiet place to park your RV, backed by exceptional customer care. For the Georgian RVer who values peace, convenience, and functional amenities without the added frills, this park in Franklin offers a perfectly tailored and highly suitable experience.

Looked for a pull through and this was one of the last places we tried. Small site but quiet. Appeared mostly long term residents, but neat and clean.

We called the number provided and were in touch with the nicest young man, Clint. He told us which site to go to, and how to pay. Very easy. When we hooked up, we found that the electric didn’t work. I called Clint. He sent someone over who fixed the connection immediately. All was well. Excellent stay. Cannot recommend more.

No cell service. Nothing but an open field with capers pilled on top of each other. It's ok for a quick overnight rest but not our cup of tea for any longer. No shade whatsoever and definitely no wifi.
