Customer Reviews
It was amazing a real find quite clean very friendly. Deer on the property every day they just look at you and keep doing what they were doing. Usually 20 to 30 a day just enjoying themselves. Was really impressed with how well the park is kept. There is a little store in the middle for your needs. We have traveled a lot and this was an out of the main stream campground that I 100 percent guarantee is in the top 5 of places to stay it your looking for real outdoors, quite, friendly people and a memorable stay. We wish we could have stayed longer.
I wouldn’t even give it 1 star if it didn’t make me to leave a review! Came to check it out as we are looking for new places to camp and fish this summer. Rudest man I have ever met in my life! Pretty much ran us off of “his” property because my husband was driving 7mph instead of 5mph! Not a sole in site and no wonder no one is there! Rude Rude Rude! This is a perfect example of what is wrong in this country! Enjoy your lonely lake life sir!
Very quiet. Saw lots of wildlife. The cabanas are very primitive. Just a concrete slab and walls. With an air mattress to sleep on it worked great. We we're there for the lake so it worked out fine. The guys at the marina we're awesome. Difiniately going back.
Spent a long weekend there in our motorhome. Very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the dear and turkeys. Will put on our list to visit again.
After the past weekend at this lake, I can honestly say never again. There are no trees around this lake. At Wildcat Marina be prepared to be over charged for EVERYTHING. $8.00 for a 12-pack of coke. $7.50 for a shower. That's right, there is no running water at this particular park. Very primitive camping. The area we were in, there was no level ground. Very rocky ground even going into the lake. The men at the Marina were rude and crass, thinking they were funny. The "bathrooms" through this park are literally a toilet seat over a big pipe that goes into a large hole that has been dug surrounded by a metal building with no doors. I don't even recommend a day trip to this place.
