Ocala, often referred to as the "Horse Capital of the World," is strategically positioned in Central Florida, making it a highly accessible destination for residents from across the state.

Its location off major roadways allows for relatively easy navigation for RVs of all sizes. While the complex itself is enormous, the RV park is situated to offer practical access to the barns and arenas, making it a convenient hub for both participants and spectators of equestrian sports.

Promotions or Special Offers

The World Equestrian Center (WEC) often features various packages and special offers, primarily focused on its hotels like The Equestrian Hotel and The Riding Academy Hotel. While direct, specific promotions for the RV Resort itself are not always broadly advertised, its inclusion as part of the larger WEC lodging options suggests that guests should inquire about any available deals.

For Florida residents, it's always advisable to directly contact the World Equestrian Center RV Resort at (352) 414-7900. They may offer:

  • Event-Specific Rates: During major equestrian events or seasonal series, there might be special pricing or packages that bundle RV stays with event access. Always check the WEC events calendar and inquire about RV park rates linked to specific shows.

  • Extended Stay Discounts: Like many RV parks, there may be reduced rates for longer stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates), which would be beneficial for those attending extended competitions or seeking a seasonal base.

  • Package Deals: Although more common for their hotels, it's worth asking if any "Stay and Play" packages or similar offers might extend to RV guests, potentially including credits for on-site dining or retail.

Given the dynamic nature of WEC's event schedule, the best approach is to frequently check their official website's "Stay" or "Packages & Specials" sections, and to call the RV resort directly to inquire about current availability and pricing that might benefit Florida locals.

Nice RV park, convenient to the barns and arenas. Lots are small but adequate and they are very easy to back in to. There is NO hot water in the shower houses during the day. Long walk to take your trash.

Impossible to level my coach, either air or jacks. It was pouring rain and even tried jack pads. Decided was not worth it and asked for a refund. The lady Kit in the office was extremely rude! She asked if I read my rental agreement???? No refunds!!!! Personality of a pit bull! The park was empty. I can see why now.

Would definitely stay again! We stayed for a week 12/2023 and really enjoyed the place. Couldn’t believe how empty it was for this time of the year. We stayed in the section farthest from the grocery store and they seemed to be more spacious in between sites. They had plenty of dog baggie/trash areas throughout the park but weren’t emptied the entire time we were there. They had LOTS of grass that our dog loved chasing his ball in while the park was empty. They had TWO dog parks for both small and large dogs that was fabulous. No picnic tables or room for hanging out outside your RV unless you’re in the grass. Verizon 5G wi-fi worked good. The streets and lots were both concrete. There wasn’t a whole lot going on while we were there until the last night when they had a horse show. The hotel is absolutely spectacular. We came during Christmas and the Christmas decor was amazing throughout the entire equestrian center & hotel. We visited the restaurant inside the hotel “Yellow Pony”, the prices were high but the food was great! We planned on going again but when we tried, it was during the horse show and the place was packed. Not much going on around the area, restaurants were limited. We did go to Fox and Hound close by and that was really good too. Mexican restaurant close was just ok.
