Branford, itself a small town in Suwannee County, is known for its proximity to several of Florida's legendary spring-fed rivers – the Ichetucknee, Santa Fe, and Suwannee. This means Floridians can easily reach the park and, more importantly, quickly access numerous opportunities for kayaking, snorkeling, tubing, fishing, and boating on these pristine waterways. The accessibility on a major route minimizes travel time, allowing more time for relaxation and recreation. While some sites might be adjacent to a neighboring operation that works at night, the park’s position offers a direct gateway to the natural wonders of the region. Being on US-27 also means a relatively easy drive to nearby towns for groceries, gas, and other necessities, providing a blend of natural immersion and practical convenience for local campers.

  • Direct Inquiry for Best Rates: It is always recommended for Floridians to call the park directly to inquire about their latest rates, any potential weekly or monthly discounts, or specific promotions they might be running. Park staff are often the best source for up-to-date pricing and special offers.
  • Consider Off-Peak Season: Like many Florida RV parks, rates might be lower during the off-peak season (typically late spring through early fall, outside of major holidays) compared to the busy winter months, offering an opportunity for more affordable stays.

Let me start by saying the staff are extremely friendly! Very easy going. Let us arrive early, we also got on the road an hour late. Wasn't a hassle. However, they just cleaned out the area we stayed in. I'm assuming that stirred up the ants TREMENDOUSLY! There were ant mounds everywhere! Having two dogs and 3 kids made it hard to enjoy. We were all bit up. Also, the trees were dropping a lot of branches/seeds on cars and campers. There's no actual water that runs through the campsite. Looking at the website you'd think there was. Also, the "older" side of the campsite has a lot of "long-term" campers. It didn't look extremely nice. There was one swing set. However, it was in complete dirt that once again was really bad with ants. There's a lot of dirt at the site. There's also something right next door to the new site. They work all night. With campers running, we couldn't hear it. If you were sitting outside, you definitely could. Very quiet during the day. I guess you could say, It just wasn't what you pictured from the site. Also, we were charged $20 a dog.

I have lived here a few months now and I can say I would never want to leave. Everyone has become like a true family to my husband and I. The management is amazing and is so fast to clean up after the storms, like Helene and Debbie, I've never felt this safe anywhere and I've never been afraid or lonely since we moved here. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, if I could give a higher star rating I would. They exceed expectations. Thank you for being here and God bless.

As I was looking at the park my car began to overheat. I had stopped to ask neighbor where my proposed lot site was located.. in the process of it all he made arrangements with me to transport my coach from one RV park to River Run. We made a deal. When he arrived to transport my coach, his truck was much too large for the transport. Angrily he left. Soon thereafter the caustic, hateful property manager Craig called me and told me that I needed to much helped and that I could not have possession of the RV site. Actually I felt a sense of relief because he had been custic and rude from the very beginning of our business transaction. In conjunction with those two extremely rude men, the park itself is a trash heap full of piles of junk at most of the sites. Most of the units are old and decrepit, with very few of them being newer nice RVs. Many people I have talked with since being refused possession told me it was a blessing in disguise because of the filthy property piled high with junk on most every site. I feel great relief that I was spared the agony of such a nasty property as well as hateful, caustic people.
