Sandy Point Campground boasts an enviable location at 29685 59th Dr, Branford, FL 32008, USA. This address places it squarely in Suwannee County, a region in North Central Florida celebrated for its pristine rivers, natural springs, and abundant outdoor recreation. The campground's position on the Santa Fe River, just above its mouth where it converges with the legendary Suwannee River, is a significant advantage for water-based activities. This confluence provides unparalleled access to two of Florida's most iconic waterways, offering endless opportunities for boating, fishing, paddling, and wildlife viewing.
Accessibility to Sandy Point Campground is relatively straightforward for Floridians traveling from various parts of the state. Branford, while a smaller community, is well-connected by state roads. From major arteries like US-27, US-129, and I-75, visitors can navigate to the campground with ease. US-27 runs east-west through North Florida, connecting to areas like Gainesville and Tallahassee, while US-129 provides a north-south route. - New Dock: The presence of a "new dock" enhances the overall boating experience, providing a modern and stable platform for tying up boats and loading/unloading passengers and gear.

This strategic location offers unparalleled opportunities for river exploration, fishing, and paddling on two of Florida's most iconic waterways.

As a professional content writer adhering strictly to factual information based on provided public data, specific, actively advertised "promotions or special offers" for Sandy Point Campground are not detailed in the provided customer reviews. Campground pricing and special offers can be dynamic, often varying by season, duration of stay, and specific events.
However, based on general practices within the campground and outdoor recreation industry in Florida, and the information provided, we can infer a few potential "offers" that might appeal to the budget-conscious or frequent visitor:
- Competitive Daily and Seasonal Rates: Customer reviews highlight "Great prices too," indicating that Sandy Point Campground is generally considered affordable. While not a "special offer" in the traditional sense, consistently competitive pricing on daily launch fees ($5 for boats, $2 for additional cars) and camping rates is a significant draw.

This is a common practice for campgrounds and RV parks, offering a more economical option for visitors planning extended stays, such as snowbirds or those seeking a seasonal base. This effectively serves as a long-term discount.
- Value-Added Amenities Included in Fees: While not a promotional discount, the inclusion of on-site gas and an ice machine as part of the overall experience provides added value that might otherwise incur extra costs elsewhere. The "new dock" also enhances the facility without apparent additional charges beyond the standard fees.

Customer Reviews
Great place to launch your boat. Can get busy on weekends. However, there isn't a lot of current at the location, which makes launching your boat and loading it much easier. The place only charges $5 to launch. $2 for any additional cars that need to park. This launch can get busy at times, so be patient. You are supposed to he able to launch 2 boats at a time. However, some people back up right in the middle of the ramp. So I would suggest that if you are not good at backing a trailer up, this might not be the right launch site for you. There are plenty of boat ramps along both the Suwannee River and Santa Fe River that are less busy if you need practice backing your boat up. This boat launch does offer gas, and they have a new dock to it as well. There also is an ice machine here, which is a bonus. The staff on site are amazing and will help you find parking as well as take you back to your boat. This launch puts you on the Santa Fe River just above the mouth of the Suwannee River and just above Ellie Rays' campground. Upstream a little ways you can enjoy the Itchtucknee river where it dumps into the Santa Fe River.
Great quiet campground on the river good for just a day, or a week, or monthly rates for a season. Been going for years. Great prices too
Not pet friendly is a deal breaker. I question the character and integrity of any establishment that says that.
Always great. Most easy loading ramp on the river.
Great restaurant, beautiful atmosphere!
